- Steve KHyde Park, NY68 contributionsBalboa Park may be the biggest collection of indoor and outdoor places/attractions in the U.S.! It seems like every sport has its place there (even an archery course!), and there are several museums, and a pretty cool arboretum (maybe more than one). And where else can you hear an outdoor organ concert? They had the Flower and Garden show which was beautiful. We had great weather so that also made a difference. I was here only one day but think I could spend a whole week here. - Tom YLas Vegas, NV834 contributionsWe came from Vegas to visit family in Milwaukee. Then drove to stay at Caesar Juliate for 2 nights free and then visit Horseshoe Casino. We are Seven Stars, visited the 7-Star Lounge. It opens at 4 PM We were the only one there. We ordered Hambuger and Taco. TYhey were good. The waitress never came to ask if everything was OK. Did not takeaway dirty dishes. Did not ask if we need more drinks. She just hang around the Bar. She needs to be retrained. This is the service we received at the Seven Star Lounge- Bad.
There are 9/6 Jack or Better video Poker machine in the high limit area. The other machines are mostly 8/5. The minimum bet at the crap table is $15. Did not check the Blackjack tables. Ate at the Chinese Noodle place inside the High Limit room. The prioce is reasonable. Chow Fun is about $12. Shrimp and vegetable is $15 and portion was small. The place is breathtaking and so beautiful! The rooms had a great New Orleans style theme and included a nice mix of locks, magnetic locks and puzzle solving. - Cheryl F1 contributionAbsolutely a great experience! After watching a safety video participants are taken to their chosen heavy equipment. The instructor and participants wear headsets for communication. The instructor guides you through all functions of the machine ( I operated a backhoe). The tasks I performed were to dig a hole, drop dirt in designated location, fill in the hole I dug, move and stack large industrial tires and maneuver equipment for each task. The instructor was on the ground in constant communication with you however I was inside the cab operating the equipment. - John SKettering, UK778 contributionsA married couple in Miami for the 2023 F1 grand prix, we had scouted out Lock & Load as somewhere we needed to visit whilst here. It didn't disappoint; our host was calm and methodical while describing what was going to happen, there was no drama at all, despite the fact we were going to shoot live ammunition! We took turns to unload our clips at the target, which was great fun. We got to keep our targets (full of holes!) and also some empty shell cases.
