Really enjoyed our trip to Port Erin. The engines are beautifully kept and the stations are so clean. Staff are very good. Not to be missed.

Brilliant interactive and visual museum. Enjoy the initial film journey into the past in the presence of one of its earliest families, learn about the islands inhabitants. Very informative exhibits and well delivered. Does not talk down to visitors but engages and introduces the islands heritage. My third visit, also has a souvenir shop and cafe.

Thoroughly enjoyed our various journeys using the Electric Railway. Staff are excellent and it is a great way to move around the island. Excellent service. It is a great experience and not to be missed. All age groups will enjoy it and it can take you up to the top of Snaefell mountain and back of course.

My daughter loved it here. You can buy tubs of food to feed the horses and donkeys. It is free entry and there is a lovely little cafe where you can purchase lunch, cake and drinks. Definitely worth a visit.

As the only ferry company to provide travel to the Isle of Man they do take advantage of motorcyclists on the TT weeks but with no competition we bikers have no other choices.

The Summerhill Glen, also known as the Fairy Glen is an area of urban greenway which appears to be inhabited by fairies and demons as a way to appeal to young kids with their families. The glen is full of little bits of art and scupltures, but it also has a great view of Douglas Head and that side of the town which is a pefect place to chill and enjoy the view.

you get to the station by walking through the glen, a truely lovely expirience with aged mature trees and then for a small fee you travel a mile along the glen and out over the clifftops. Run by volunteers and run very well, too! highly recommended

Had a fascinating back stage tour, the funds from which go directly to the restoration fund. Superb chandeliers have been purchased from the previous proceeds. An excellent tour lasting over 2 hours gets you from under the stage (where all the Various trapdoors etc are explained), into the auditorium, right up to the Highest seating area and beyond, to the film projection rooms and equipment from its use as an early cinema. Such a stunning theatre that has been restored to its Victorian opulence. I have hearing loss yet the guide was so clear I could hear every word. Don't miss this Saturday morning experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed the website although I'm sadly yet to experience it in person. A collection of great rides, well maintained (waxed, lubed etc.). I appreciated the owner's particular interest in Asian models.

We only went for the 3 hour stopover but it was a great day. I recommend the boat trip from Port St. Mary. It was a nice trip with seals and different sea birds as well as a peregrine falcon. Once on the Calf you can walk around and it could take around 2 hours. Of course it wasn't so isolated as we were about 20 walking around, although all spread out so you wouldn't have known it. Beautiful rugged scenery and views and plenty of curious seals popping up their heads. If you like basic living you can stay for a couple of nights. We are now thinking about it.
