- Deanna1 contributionAttended a murder mystery dinner event last night and had a most enjoyable evening. The entertainment was amazing. We had roast ham with all the trimmings followed by a very nice cheesecake. A glass of Buck’s Fizz and a couple of glasses of wine served by a very lovely chef made our night.
We would love to come again to your next event.Written March 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Plenty of places to get either an Ice cream or meal in either the pub or cafe.Written January 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SprintergirlPaignton, UK54 contributionsWe saw Vincent Simone in Tango Passions here recently. The performance was amazing - brilliant dancers and a special mention to the lady who danced, sang and played violin - she was mesmerising!
The Palace is such a lovely intimate theatre with great views wherever you sit. We always enjoy coming here.Written March 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A gentle shelving beach so good for paddling and swimming and a lovely steam train running along the edge and over a beautiful bridge you drive under on entry. - Adam DDartmouth, UK2 contributionsThe staff are very friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the actual park is a great place for kids to visit.Written October 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Stewart Q9 contributionsThe green patch around roundham has a winding trail that is interesting to walk down to the beach. Yet, the areas between roundham are a bit touristy, cheap food, a lot of people.Written March 5, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Paul FChesterfield, UK2,235 contributionsThe harbour sits at the far end of Paignton...depending upon which end you are at of course.
It is a nice old harbour surrounded by places to eat and drink....some very nice housing and good views. Worth a visit for sure.Written October 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Compact house but lovely ambience.
Large parts of the house are still private.
A short visit and accessed down a narrow road but well worth a look if you appreciate this type of property.Written June 15, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Nice sandy beach with plenty of space, very sociable atmosphere, lots of attractions in nearby vicinity, could not fault this place one bit except for the one thing that gets said of all seaside's in the UK now which is the need for free public changing rooms.
Thoroughly recommended.Written August 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Steve WBlackburn, UK252 contributionsWe walked through the park every day to get from our hotel to the centre of town.
The only issue was one path had street lights that were not working - not good in the dark.Written October 17, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great to take the kids to to blast through a few hours.Written February 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Paula BTorquay, UK18 contributionsWe had a fabulous sunset cruise yesterday.
Easy booking process, informative and helpful staff, amazing weather, fish & chips cooked to perfection, lucky enough to see both dolphins and porpoises (not guaranteed of course) and a beautiful sunset.Written August 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Simon Day15 contributionsRarely, but every so often, the Velopark closes for a major event. This Sunday was the Cyclo-Cross league and I was there to photograph it. The facilities are really good, the place is immaculately clean. Hundreds of people were there (including BBC Spotlight) and the day was amazing.
The off-track parts of the event got muddier and muddier as the day went on but it that made for some great photos :-)
I overlook the Velopark so I can recommend going. Check out their facebook page as it contains information on the different weekly event they have, plus any closure that may be coming up.Written January 6, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are a variety of slides including a drop slide, waterslides with a rubber dingy and some with mats. Not really much of a system going, people just running around with their rubber dingys, sometimes you have to wait a while to get one. There are sun loungers dotted around, and a large changing room. The kids enjoyed it, but nothing special.Written March 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
