You can do a circular walk visiting the hides, from which you look out over the lakes and generally see several species of wading and water birds, and other small birds.
It is so peaceful and tranquil, a haven for wild flowers, brambles, butterflies and dragonflies apart from the different birds.

Excellent place to visit, lovely walks in different sections of the reserve, bird hides to view the different birds great information centre, free car parking.
The reserve has several reed beds where large numbers of starlings come down just before sunset to roost (November to March) There is a visitor centre (only open from Wednesdays I think) and has toilets available.
