Visited Enniskillen for an overnight stay and decided to visit the castle, it's not overly big but is a good way to pass some time, definitely a must see if you're into Northern Irish history, staff were very friendly and cafe was pleasant also.

Great estate run by the National Trust. Bit of a rocky road up to it, lots of pot holes but scenic. Good parking.
Might be an ideas to have Times of tours listed at the entrance when you drive in/paying at the kiosk in drive way.
Lovely coffee shop in the grounds and toilet facilities.
Excellent tour, very knowledgeable about the family and history, lots of original features and furniture.
You can see how the National Trust are repairing section by section. very interesting.
Lasts over an hour and ends the kitchen area and you exit by the servants quarters through a tunnel which is different. Very good.

Stunning views!!! One of the most beautiful places we have visited in Ireland. Not far from Enniskillen in Lough Navar Forest Park. Great drive up to the car park at the viewing point.

Drove down from Antrim during my stay in NI. Wanted to check out the regimental museum as it was my great grandfather’s WW1 regiment. Small but lots to see. Loved the castle architecture.
