This little farm is a lovely visit, lovely little gift shop too. The animals look well kept , the only thing I would like to see is a bigger aquarium for the giant Gourami, the tank is far too small for such a large fish.

My sister was visiting me for the weekend and we decided to attend what was described in the advertising as a Snowdrops and Hellebores event. While there was plenty of them in the garden, it was more following the trail of sculptures around the garden, which was fun and interesting.
We had a light lunch of soup in the tea room.
    It was an enjoyable afternoon.

Great venue, we went here to see an Adele tribute act and it was very impressive. Great seats from all around the venue was a great view.

We visited on a lovely sunny afternoon and reckon that this is one of the best modern municipal parks we know. At 164 acres, it is large enough to have several different areas - and it does. Though only opened in 1957, it is so varied - a brilliant location. Gentle hills, lovely water garden, with a brook flowing out from it, into a grassy area where children were enjoying running and playing in the shallow water - just brilliant! And then there is the skate park, and the bandstand, and the cafe, and we did not even go to the animal park or the pub! How amazing to live in one of the houses within the grounds of the park!

Gardens at Harlow Museum are looking wonderful this autumn. Its been a challenging year for gardeners- so lovely to see how well the gardens are looking. The unusual fruit garden is especially interesting in October. There is also a formal knot garden and larger walled garden with roses and other flowers. There is plenty of space to relax and enjoy the autumn sunshine. The staff and volunteers were so friendly and made us feel really welcome.

The gardens are mainly level with lots of benches to sit down. It takes about an hour to look around the gardens - you can easily stay longer. Didn't have a lot of time to look around indoors at museum displays as had another commitment. Overall impression was an engaging presentation. Great to see so many women feature prominently in Harlow's story. If you wanted to make a longer day out - its about a 10-15 minute walk to the Town Park.

Run down stadium but still a laugh if you have nothing to do then pop along. Don’t bet on the tote unless packed as the returns are no good. Bookmakers give you some sort of decent returns if you bet win only.cheap to get in and free parking

An amazing little gem of a theatre. We saw the wonderful play ' Enough', which was stunning, but Winnie the Pooh, and The Railway children attended by family members, received rave reviews from them. A small, victorian theatre.... maybe in need of a cash injection...but friendly. comfy and a home for amazingly talented actors.

A nice place to be- great gym. Superstar Named Berfin on front of house 10/10

I called up yesterday after having not been to the gym in a while. I was Greeted by Berfin. She made me feel comfortable right away about renewing my membership and getting back to the Gym. It is still very similar as far as the gym but security and CCTV is everywhere which makes you feel safe. Berfin took the time to ensure I was getting the right contract which is very reasonable and actually called me back to invite me to then come and sign up. With regained confidence I did so and I couldn't be happier.
The bar is closed I guess during the week which is great for me as I didnt like leaving the gym just to go for a pint afterwards although I understand it is still open on weekends. Not lots has changed, just kind staff (Berfin was just so helpful), Security is better. Simply put its a nice place to be and its convenient for me. Being disabled and having this gym so close is really helpful for me and I wouldnt be bettering myself if it wasn't for Paringdon sports club being so close and the kind staff.
I must say thank you to Berfin for taking the time to call me back about my request for membership- alot of places dont take the time to do so, along with showing the gym and for making me feel human and not just a monthly number. Great job! I plan to continue this gym trend and this is a great place to do so. If you want a quiet spot like me to take your time and get a nice workout in, this is it.
Full disclosure i'm pleased the bar is closed during the week now too.
Locker rooms are still nice and clean, bathrooms- clean.
    Gym equipment- clean.
Sauna- inoperative sadly but i'm sure it'll be working sometime soon.

Happy to be back there, cheers Berfin for making it an easy process!

Currently showing the Redrawing Harlow exhibition of evocative charcoal drawings of the town by Jordan Cook. Small gallery space on the 1st floor of the Civic centre, the permanent collection contains some gems. Free entry :)

Dominic and terry were great workers, Jake had come gone midnight to help with a fireplace flu pipe had come loose and was letting water and smoke into the house. Fixed the leak and flu in the rain, dark, and nothing but a good attitude to solve and help with the extreme and dangerous situation we was in, can’t thank you enough. Epping roofers will be our first and only choice when we think too look for any type of work, roofing, building, even his connections threw his BNI group I’ve got a new mechanic and scaffolder! Also these guys do great work with our local young people and children’s mental health and suicidal support charity, Epping roofers have been the proud sponsor of, homestead care home Enfield, employee of the month awards. with a raffle funded by business who want to associate themselves with making a small difference for the industry. homestead care home Enfield Really taking the lead and making a excellent example of how little things can make al the change. we even got solar panels fitted on the house by them this month
