This lovely little cafe restaurant along side the nursery serves the best cream tea anywhere WE have had many but this one in its own enchanting surroundings is the best by miles.
They do a brilliant egg mayo sandwich too and the tea- served in bone china cups (they could do with some bone china teapots to match)- is perfect as well.

The highlight from a shrubs viewpoint is definitely the azaleas & rhododendrons (April onwards) and camellias (earlier in the year) - all of which are spectacular when in full bloom with dramatic arrays of colour.
