It has everything, a great atmosphere (think- passionate owners, lovely locals and free cheese boards), an extensive menu of great beers (as well as serving excellent white Rioja and other wines).
Another great achievement is the Brooksteed special events which include the surrounding local business and create a real community spirit We love the Brooksteed, it’s a happy, fun environment Team Brooksteed look...

I visit regularly and there is always a superb variety of local and regional ales, as well as a choice of delightful ciders and excellent wines available.
As I said I love coming here for a quiet pint and have also got quite relaxed with a group of friends as this is a super friendly little boozer with a great selection of beers.

Nigel and Debbie were most knowledgeable about all the ales and what I loved best was the availability of a "Threesome"!
All the bottled beers, wine and soft drinks are local.

The landlord greeted us straight away and we told him what kind of beers we liked and he chose for us- his recommendations are excellent.
Les has developed a smashing little beer house with super beers and a great atmosphere.

From the moment you walk into this new alehouse you feel so welcome, the eclectic style and the friendly greeting perfectly matched with an excellent selection of ales.
Micro pub at it's best due to amazing beer, atmosphere and just as important the landlady and landlord (and beautiful doggy).

If you are around at Sunday lunchtime, mine host puts on a selection of bar snacks for you to nibble at ( Just like local pubs did in the 1960’s/70’s).
You’re spoilt for choice in Arundel if you want a drink and as this is the oldest pub in town (dating from around 1625) then it’s got to be on your list.
