- ERM123456789West Yorkshire, UK14 contributionsBeautiful views from a boat. Booked a tour with 'Polar adventures'. They were so friendly. Would definitely recommend to book with them. When on boat wrap up warm and go outside to take in all the beautiful views! Surreal to see the mountains covered in snow, under blue skies in such calm seas. Stunning experience!Written May 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Dougal911Perth and Kinross, UK54 contributionsWe visited the nearby Tromso University Museum, and had been recommended this area to visit. It was October and about 3/4oC, but what a view south towards majestic snow covered mountains.
There are fully constructed footpaths, with areas to sit, have a picnic or bbq. We got the no. 40 bus to the area, and made the 40 minute walk back to the city centre, which in parts follows the shoreline.
It was our last day, but had we fould it sooner, would have used this place to look for the Aurora at night, as there is too much light polution in the city.Written October 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FarAway379243623332 contributionsThank you to all the members, especially to Koren. I decided to write a review with my friends on his kind and passionate. And David stopped the bus on our way back to town after the tour, showing his passion to observe the aurora, and as a result, we could see the red aurora dancing. It was awesome. I recommend this tour.Written October 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Karthik A1 contributionLucas took me and my wife on a private tour looking for the northern lights around the fjords and nearby islands from Tromso. He was very knowledgeable about the phenomenon and quite courteous. Our tour came with a meal and photographs both of which were excellently done. They were able to accommodate for our dietary preferences as well. He knew where to stop and chose locations that were both picturesque and less crowded. Overall we had a wonderful experience!Written April 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Stephanie B15 contributionsSnowshoeing with our guide, Martin was awesome! It was a workout but there were people with varying fitness levels and the guide does a great job taking breaks and making things fun. We started by feeding the reindeer which was so cool!! You really see some personalities and it was a fun experience. The snowshoeing is for anyone as long as you’re willing to work for it! Views were incredible!Written February 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- XstephwilsoXManchester, UK83 contributionsWe booked on this tour as part of our 5 day holiday in Tromso. It’s always been on my bucket list. The morning didn’t disappoint. Very well organised, lovely friendly people and an amazing experience with the huskies. You get a bit of time before you start to meet them and give them a bit of love, and they are so friendly! Beautiful scenery during the sledding and the dogs just love it. Perfect morning finished off with coffee and cake.Written February 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Eat.Stay.PlaySouthern Queensland, Australia23 contributionsWOW, what a journey we are a family of 4 from Australia and as dog lovers we decided to do the guided Dog Sledding. We where picked up In Tromso by there very comfortable bus and transported to their facility, from the moment we arrived they are straight into it like a well oiled machine. They promptly had has dressed in supplied boots and overalls to keep you warm and had us in the sleigh and off on the journey. The trail they took was majestic such beautiful views. On arrival back at base you are invited to sit down around a fire and are given warm drinks and a meal before boarding the bus for the return journey. Between returning from sleigh ride and meal there is ample time to spend with the dogs to pat them and give them thanks for all their hard work. If I could give this business a higher rating I would. Thank you to the wonderfull staff for an amazing experience.Written April 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. On our 3rd stop we glimpsed a small green patch and then were treated to a fabulous show! So well worth the wait in the cold, a dream come true.Written February 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Adele B2 contributionsMy husband and I and another couple went on the Fjord Bus Tour in Tromso, Norway in September 2024. Our tour guide was Anastasia and Are was our driver. Anastasia was an amazing guide! She had so much information on Norway, including the culture, lifestyle, and history. We all really enjoyed the local snacks offered, especially the lefse dessert and reindeer salami. The places we stopped at had amazing views of the fjords, and lunch at the hotel in the village was delicious (fish soup, bread, and coffee/tea). There was actually an issue with the lunch reservation, but Anastasia handled it well and we didn't have to wait long even with the hiccup. The photos she took of us turned out so well! My husband and I just used the free lower quality version, but there were high-quality ones available for purchase. The photos were available for download very fast after the tour which was nice.Written October 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Roberta ALake Arrowhead, CA103 contributionsLoved this excursion from Tromsø. Our guide’s name was Ken who is from a Sami family in Norway and was so very pleasant and informative regarding reindeer, food, music and the Sami culture. Sarah assisted in the feeding of the reindeer and also was friendly and helpful. All questions were welcomed regarding any of the Sami culture including a Sami lunch. All in all, this is a well worth it 5 STAR excursion!!! I highly recommend this wonderful Sami reindeer experience!!!!Written February 19, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
