- Deepali12 contributionsWe went to this Cable car ride and it was really a smooth ride. There is a hike trail also to reach to the summit.
The view from the top of the summit and nearby trails were gorgeous! It was like a mental Yoga!
There is a small cafe at the top of the summit but there were no Vegetarian options so we were unable to use same.

I was here on a cruise excursion and local guide was difficult to hear. I asked the girl at the desk (who immediately "got her back up") for a guide in English that I saw others carrying. She became very unfriendly and said when you cannot have one when you are with a guide. Really? All the signage was in Norwegian and couldn't hear my guide! She could have cared less. - Laura BGilbertsville, PA15 contributionsMy son and I visited this museum in June on our own. The museum has various rooms, each dedicated to a different theme. These themes included geology, wildlife, the Northern Lights, Sami culture, life at a boarding school, religious artifacts, and local history of WWII. We went primarily for the Sami culture While other exhibits had English captioning, the Sami culture captioning was in what I assume was Norwegian and Sami. A tour group came through and we eavesdropped in on a vary interesting explanation of the exhibit. The museum did offer a tour but it was in the afternoon and we were there in the morning. You can get a discount on tickets if you purchase both this museum and the Polaris one. - Deepali12 contributionsWe went to Polaria on a rainy day to ensure that we use the time well. Our daughter liked seal feeding session and Aquarium but the highlight was the interactive Arctic ice AR gallery.
It is a small Aquarium but the Seals were the major plus point for this place.

- LK LeungHong Kong, China5 contributionsVery lucky to have visited on a sunny day. About 1 hour drive + ferry ride from Tromso. It offers epic views on a clear day, and much less crowded than the city. Snowmobiling tour or skiing tour with guide strongly recommended, as the best scenic areas are off-road. It is also worth to spend more days in the area for exploring on foot. Do note that weather can change rapidly or deteriorates quickly on any day, so always check the weather and avalanche forecast before heading out.Wri
