Wonderful day trip to Hallstatt. Great communication from Company regarding our pickup from the Hotel. The Bus we traveled in was lovely. Super comfortable and you could charge your phone if needed. Lilly, our Guide gave nice commentary about what our day would entail, where we would stop along the way, as well as historical information that was very interesting. Our Driver was very good as well and we felt very safe. Hallstatt was lovely even though it was rainy but we got great photos and we really loved the shops and had a great Lunch at Seewirt Zauner. The day was long, 12 hrs, but totally worth it.

My tour guide and driver, Marco, was late on his way to pick me up for the day trip but he sent me a message via WhatsApp, which was appreciated. He was friendly and knowledgeable and a good driver. The drive is 3 1/2 hrs one way so expect to spend a lot of time in the van. Our local guide in Prague, Jane, was friendly and knowledgeable, but seemed more concerned that we shop from local businesses (perhaps they're all friends with her). She was knowledgeable about Prague, but we didn't visit some of the locations on our itinerary like Prague Castle. Also, when she was asked for recommendations for lunch she didn't have any specific places to point us to, she just told the us to go to Old Town. Keep in mind all restaurants and souvenirs shop are in Old Town and the walk back to the meeting point in the New Town was almost a 10 minute walk away from Old Town. This meant your free time is limited to eat, shop, and do what you like.

What a treat it was to finally see Budapest after hearing so much about it for so many years! Our tour guide Zoltan was wonderfully personable, knowledgeable, and fun to spend the day with — and his excellent driving and parking skills were truly a marvel to behold! The small group (5 total) and comfortable van made this longish excursion a very pleasant one — so glad we were able to squeeze this visit to Budapest into our travel itinerary!

This was a great tour thanks to Robert, the driver and guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable and full of facts about Mozart, The Sound of Music, and all the sites we passed/stopped at.

We had a fantastic experience with our guide. She was so knowledgeable and showed us so much of the city that we would have missed on our own.

Sam, our driver/guide was fantastic. He expertly explained points of interest and adapted for our constant late return at stops and personal walkabout. He has the personality to really make the day special and enjoy.

This is a full day tour involving a 90 minute bus ride each way. First stop is an old town which is cute, but not much to see there other than tourist stores and ice cream shops. Then boarded a boat for a 90 minute boat ride up the Danube. Beautiful scenery and a nice way to spend the day if the weather is nice. But there is only a few seats outside that are shaded, so hard to be on the deck on a hot sunny day. The other two decks are basically enclosed restaurants with service. You can see well through the windows and the air conditioning is good, but would be better if there were more shaded areas with an outside breeze. After the boat ride is the town of Melk, a beautiful old town with an abbey well worth the trip. Plenty of time for lunch at a restaurant in town, but the walk back up to the abbey in time for the tour is quite a climb.

We had a wonderful time on this tour and cherished every moment. Our expert and friendly tour guide, Peter, made the experience truly memorable. We also received a special something, but let it be a surprise. We highly recommend this tour!

We had a lovely time on this tour! Our tour guide, Lidia, was amazing. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Austria and was entertaining. She conducted the tour in English and Russian which meant that on the way to Salzburg she talked non-stop.

The biggest downside is that is supposed to be a Sound of Music tour. We did see the church used for filming the wedding, the area where the Trapp family hid in the movie at the end, and the gazebo for the 16 going on 17 song. We saw many amazing things including Lake Mondsee.

When we toured Salzburg though it was just a city tour and other than the graveyard where they hid, there were only mentions of things like up there is the convent where Maria von Trapp was a novice. We actually had some ladies leave the tour and take the train back because it was not what they expected.

So if you want a terrific historical tour with some sound of music thrown in this was an excellent tour. If you want a true sound of music tour, look for another tour where the focus is sound of music!

We really did enjoy this day trip!

It was a long day but my husband and I are glad we took this tour to Salzburg. The highlight was our guide Peter in Salzburg. He was informative and very funny with a dry sense of humor.

My wife and I hired a car with an English speaking driver from Vienna to Budapest, Hungary with stop-over in Bratislava. We were charged Euro 200/- one way trip. We found it was cheap because the driver picked us from Vienna hotel and dropped us at Budapest hotel. On top of that, he took us for a walking tour to see the old palace, government buildings and the narrow streets of downtown Bratislava and fantastic Blue Church.

Bratislava is a small city and the whole tour took us only one hour. But it is a nice city with nice friendly people.

Maria was a wonderful driver. Answered all of our questions and provided help in many ways. Wish we would have spent more time in Salzburg and Hallstatt and skip the other 2 stops.
