Wonderful service at the wiener Linien office at the Wien Hbf, helpful staff that communicates in English well. Senior rate for tickets were very reasonable €1.50 single / €3 return ride. We planned to just make 2 rides per day, all day tickets would have been more expensive. As is, I was able to return unused tickets for a refund minus 10%, since our hotel gave us all day tickets gratis. One thing. It claims you can check in your bags in Vienna, so you can travel hassle free. This is true but only for certain airlines. Because they are collecting money for charity, everyone is charged, and they will not accept transportation passes. This is sponsored by a snack and cookie company called Manner and the tram is painted pink to match the packaging of their products. We scheduled our trip to Munich, Salzburg, and Vienna in early December in order to tour the Christmas Markets in each city. - Neil KLiverpool, UK618,732 contributionsBeen visiting this most beautiful of city's for many years ,I love the city ,love the architecture ,the nightlife ,the people and befitting such a wonderful city is a transport system that I adore but am also so jealous of , my home town is Liverpool and it's safe to say our transport system is poor compared to Vienna's ,my twin brother Stephen and I were in this city for a week in the run up to Christmas ,first thing we did was purchase a weeks travel pass for unlimited travel on the Ubahn,busses and trams and at €17.50c each amazingly good value for money ,trams are fast and efficient and take you to all the major tourist attractions ,we used them all day and night and come Friday & Saturday all travel is on throughout the night ,no expensive taxi's ,all in all a great transport system to check out if you're planning a holiday to Vienna.Written December 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The car was very clean, comfortable and roomy for 4 adults. The taxi arrived on time and the driver was friendly, helpful and professional. We had a lot of luggage which we mentioned to them in advance and the car had sufficient space to accommodate all our luggage. The driver also helped us to load the luggage and later to unload it and put on a trolley at the airport. The ride was very smooth and we were at the airport on time. The price that we paid was a very good value for the service and it was also probably the cheapest that I could find. I will even recommend this service over Uber if you are travelling with good amount of luggage. It was very easy to get in touch with them also over the phone and they spoke German as well as English. They didn't provide us taxi and driver details in advance but they assured us in a very comforting voice that the taxi will be there on time and it was. The taxi that came to pick us up was very spacious, comfortable and clean.

Comfort - terrible comared to the old DDR sleeping cars. Seats are worse, beds are worse. The top bed is a joke. Only thing better was the ac and heating that worked without a problem. The window was extremely dirty even for a train.
Shower - not usable only cold water
Extras - Lounge at Vienna Hbf perfect but a bit small. Welcome drink only alcoholic, no nonalcoholic alternative. Decent amenity kit.
We were 121 minutes late on the platform even when the weather was perfect.
We got 25% refund even when we should have received 50%. OBB is not replying to my messages why.
