The concert itself was amazing. The orchestra and singers are really talented, kind, and funny. The Orangerie is a really beautiful place.
However, I would not recommend the tour + concert package. The price is almost the same as buying individual tickets, and you can not go at your own pace as it is more like a group visit. Besides, it is a 30-minute simplified visit, so you will not see everything Schoenbrunn has to offer.
Another relevant information, the place is quite big, so I would guess that the back sectors do not have the same experience. Sector A must be the most cost-effective.

I experienced a concert in the Musikverein (located near Karlsplatz). Orchestra is fantastic as well as the location. Program is intended for classic music estimators. Tickets are available online and divided into categories from 1 to 10: 10 means standing places for 5 € (ok if you want to enjoy for a little time), 9 means sitting places behind the organ so you don't see the orchestra, from 8 to 6 you see the orchestra partially, from 5 to 1 you have a quite complete view. The concert lasted 2 hours.

Dinner was in a chique hotel (was not clearly mentionned that the restaurant was in the hotel !)
A 'drink was offered' but at the end it seems that it costed 24€ !! Dinner was nice, live piano music but no view. Concert were not really good places (at the side). But never the less it was a great experience but too expensive for what we got.

I have listened to many recordings of Mozart's Requiem, but this performance of a small group of musicians (12 strings; 8 winds/brass; 1 timpani; 13 singers + 4 soloist singers + conductor) revealed to me new aspects of how well the different voices of the orchestra and choir/soloists are integrated and support each other. Less is really more. Here, location is everything, and Karlskirche and its acoustics was a key part of the performance. The acoustics at many times made me look up toward the dome, especially at the end of movements. Mozart's orchestration as to when he used the timpani or not, seeing up-close how the singers and instrumentalists support each other or counterbalance each other was inspiring. Period instruments were appreciated - especially cellists playing without endpin, period trombone, horn, etc. This performance made me fall in love again with the Requiem but in a completely different way. It felt like going back in time and getting a glimpse as to how this piece was performed in the day. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

i agree with others that this place is a bit of tourist trap but the music was still great and if you are not really into classical music and just want a bit of taste, this one is for you!

It is definitely a show for tourists, but a fairly good one. The place is interesting, the musicians are OK and the music is what you would expect in Vienna being a tourist. I enjoyed it.

We went in the last 30 years almost twice a year to Vienna, and never heard before about this lovely Kammeroper. This is basically for the young talents of the Theater an der Wien. We had a very good Candide, with very good voices. And the theater itself is nice.

The Vienna Symphony orchestra is in residence at the beautiful Wiener Konzerthaus which is the best venue to attend its performance. The performance is spellbinding as over fifty musicians perform as one and take you through the highs and lows of a piece.

A must do for lovers of classical music.

The only thing that exceeded the music, was the building. While this may not have been classic Mozart or Strauss, both would have enjoyed the presentations. If you are a purist, I still think you will enjoy this.

For many years we have always promised ourselves to attend a Struass or Mozart concert whilst in Vienna and to find a concert that had both at the same time was just the ticket. We purchased our tickets on line via Trip Advisor and you have to visit the building to exchange your voucher into ticket which can be done on the night of the event. The concert hall building was excellent and once inside you were directed to your seats and we were in the second row from the stage so the atmosphere was even more electric. The small orchestra performed outstanding pieces from both composers and we were also treated to several songs by a lady opera singer and also ballet which featured both a man and young woman who definitely knew how to entertain us. The experience overall was brilliant and could have sat there for hours and hours, but unfortunately the concert only last two hours with a 15 minute interval for refreshments which can be taken on the balcony of the building. What a great evening and a memorable one as it was our Wedding Anniversary and what a place to spend it. Definitely something not to be missed whilst in Vienna.

I bought 4 tickets for our family 2 months before we travelled to Vienna. The night before the concert, I got a notification that our tickets were cancelled. I spent too much time trying to figure out why this happened, even walked to the church. They were entitled and rude. Told us they don’t have our tickets. Absolutely unprofessional, considering we traveled to Vienna for this.
