This was one of the best things we did in Vienna. The kids enjoed it very much and we also. We spent there 3-4 hours

We visited Gansehaufel while in Vienna in August and loved it so much we returned again before we left the city. And we would definitely return! We went in summer, and it was around 30 degrees, absolutely perfect. Having first gone on a Sunday, we knew it would be crowded, but my wife and I headed straight to the FKK area and it was much quieter. Lots of people, but quiet and respectful. It was really loud (lots of kids) in the main area of the island, so we definitely recommend going with the FKK area (no clothes allowed – no tan lines, yay!) People are friendly, though we of course kept our distance with COVID.

The water was lovely, there are facilities, a restaurant, ice cream bar – no clothes needed for any of them. Couldn’t be more convenient! Hardly anyone apart from us wore masks, but social distancing is pretty easy. Though masks should be required for the washrooms and restaurants – we fell. It was much less busy when we returned on Friday.

There is a free shuttle service to/from the nearby U-Bahn station (Kaisermühlen-Vic), but it seems to only operate on weekends. It was operating on the Sunday when we went, but not on the Friday when we returned.

Highly recommend a visit, especially for the non-prudish! Loooove that Vienna has this oasis right in the middle of the city. I wish all cities did, body positivity and equality should be encouraged!

As with every trip, I had to pay a visit to the city’s casino, pun not intended. At a first glance, the atmosphere gives you a very nice and quite “luxurious” feeling, but the dress code is casual, which matches the relaxed by stylish Vienna vibes.
In this casino, you can find a good amount of slot machines and of course the classic table games, such as roulette and blackjack. Having a preference for the roulette tables, I went straight to them, only to be slightly disappointed to find out that the “cheapest” tables, the 5€ ones, were similar to the standard European layout, but with an addition of 00, which means that the odds for the players at that table are automatically lower than usual.
If you have a bigger budget, you can of course play at the 10€ tables, where you can find the “normal” European format.
If you are feeling lucky, then this casino is definitely worth a visit and spending some time in.

We visited here during a long weekend visit to Vienna it was a lovely relaxing day after a cycling wine tour the day before. There are 3 “parks” like this on Alte Donau easy to find when leaving the U-Bahn just turn onto the main road and follow the crowds. There are two paid parks and one free which we didn’t realise although it was less than 10 euros for a full days entry good facilities for showering very clean environment and a refreshing swim in the Danube what’s not to like?

We visited this charming pool on our last day in Vienna. We went in the morning and took the U Bahn and Bus, it was very easy to access. The pool is not heated so I would recommend that you go on a day when it is sunny as it can be a struggle to get warm. The views are wonderful and it’s well worth the small excursion from the rest of the city.

This is a huge public swim area with many pools and facilities for babies, kids and adults. Almost a small city. With restaurants, ice cream booths, etc. For kids there are water slides, a tower to jump and every full hour they have artificial waves. Great to relax after a business or sightseeing day.

Very well set out with a range of facilities of a spa. For those who are daring there is a naked area but not in any way sexual(it would not work in the UK)

The Concord card casino , which has plenty of cash action as well as tournaments, looked like some blackjack and that sort of side action, drinks and food a little bit pricey, but friendly, was only 3 stops by tram no. 6.away from my hotel Jufa Wien great place to stay.

If you are in Vienna with children and it is hot, this is a good place to go. A previous reviewer got there by taxi. We took the 43 tram from Schottentor to Hernals and then the 42a from Hernals to the pool. Very nice green area with lots of shade. One big pool and several smaller pools. 2 well supervised diving boards, a big water slide, a nice cafe and a children's playground. 12 decent trampolines too. I went with my 11 year old daughter and we spent most of the day there while my wife did the art in Vienna!

Went with my boyfriend and we had such a laugh. It was fun to learn there and it had a few bars to hang out in too.

I was yelled at by the old and grumpy owner just because I accidentally entered the kitchen when looking for the toilet. He then even refused to apologize!

I am not going to pay 14 euros ever again to these horrible people. Don't go there!

This beautiful pool with lawns and a wellness centre is superb. It is located at the top of the Schonbrunn Palace park and is full of affluent, good-looking locals. It has a nice bar and coffee place, very clean changing rooms and a lovely feel about it. I went in the afternoon and it as about 10 euros. A real find

A nice and small park that you can spend time in and rest in during your walk in the area. It has some activities for your children.
