I am a space nerd and am trying to visit anything space related in every city I go to. The Planetarium Vienna is very cozy. You will need some german knowledge if you want to follow along. Unless you are just stopping by to enjoy the show. The visuals are quite nice. They project the sky onto the ceiling of the building. Even without german knowledge, this is quite interesting (if you are into space stuff).
We were looking for something to do on Sunday together with our daughter. Finally found this little gem directly in Vienna. It is a sight with a lot of history to tell! And you also have the chance during the guided tour to watch the sun/the stars with an old telescope. All the mechanic of this observatory still works (moving and opening of roof) simply a great experience for all ages! Bring food and drinks for the little ones.Recommendation!
