Looks like a church but is actually the town hall. The Neo-Gothic building was built between 1872 and 1883. Free guided tours are available Monday, Wednesday and Friday, at 1 p.m.

We are thankful for a great excursion to gorgeous halls of the Austrian Parliament in english. It was not only very beautiful, but also very interesting to know more about politics in Austria. The stuff is very motivated and friendly. New multimedia halls are impressive too. 10 🌟

Gorgeous!! Like the rest of Vienna, the courthouse is majestic. Inspiring to see (not a lot of ground to cover but worthwhile). Warmly recommend.

Embark on a unique journey that transcends Austrian palaces, offering a compelling look into the modern influences shaping our world. This tour provides a fascinating behind-the-scenes exploration of an institution actively contributing to global progress. The experience underscores the power of countries working together for the greater good. Our knowledgeable guide adds a delightful touch, seamlessly integrating captivating elements like a moon rock, space suits, encounters with foreign delegates, and a Tutankhamen mask while dog robots cavort in the background. This dynamic excursion goes beyond expectations, offering a concise yet eye-opening adventure into the intersection of modern Austria and its impactful role on the global stage. Prepare to be pleasantly surprised by the depth and relevance of this unconventional exploration.

This museum is not a must-see in Vienna if you have just 1-2 days, but if you have plenty of time it does worth a short visit. Old and newer coins and banknotes, some history, Euros from all around the EU, some interactive displays with quiz and a big gold bar... Interesting. It took me only 15-20 minutes and it is completely free.

Vienna is a city justifiably famous for it's great architecture ,every street in the historic city centre throws up an amazing looking building ,one that caught my eye was Burgerliches Zeughaus ( Civil Armory ) .
This building looks superb ,the facade is really beautiful from the great looking Austrian double headed eagle motif on the frontage of this imposing building to the statues perched atop the building ,it's such an opulent piece of architecture that adds to the joy of walking around the historic centre of Vienna,it's a building easy to locate on Am Hof and is well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Bundesministerium Fur Justiz ( Federal Ministry Of Justice ) is an absolutely amazing looking building located not to far from Volksgarten.
One of the most outstanding Baroque buildings in Vienna, constructed in 1712,its a building that certainly catches the eye ,its location in the Neubau district is cool,Museumquartier and Spittelberg all close by,this building certainly blends in well with the amazing architecture to be found in this part of town, the beautiful statue in front of the building is to Viennese actor and dramatist Ferdinand Raimund, adds to the joy of visiting this building.
Easy to locate on MuseumstraĂźe in an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination.

Huge building with an impressive eagle on the top and above and huge columns and statue in front fits well to the ministry of war. You feel small as you pass by.
