Tamas, our guide, was amazing and hilarious. We went to two wineries, and four glasses of wine in each. Grüner Vertliner was one of they served us. They are were delicious! The prices were reasonable. The last winery was our dinner. The winemaker served us 4 four glasses of wine. Fried chicken, and bread with pork belly, salad and of course, black currant cake! The trip back to Vienna, singing some songs all together!

We had a great day in the Wachau Valley! Our tour guide Tim was amazing from start to finish. The valley itself is absolutely stunning, the bikes were easy to use and the town of Dürstein was picturesque. We ate lunch at the restaurant the group tour offered and it was great. There is some time after lunch to explore the town and walk down by the Danube. The wine tastings were wonderful and we bought some local wines. It is a long bike journey the total tour in the valley is about 6+ hours with stops in between and then the train ride back to town. I would highly recommend this tour we had a wonderful experience ☺️

What a joy of a day! This was fantastic from start to finish. Lukas was kind, funny, informative, patient and took us to some of Vienna's hidden gems. We can say enough good things. It made our trip

This was the BEST tour. We had a private guide, Marco, who made the trip. He was so easy to be with all day and tailored everything to what we wanted. The wineries were beautiful and delicious! We were not able to take the boat ride on the Danube due to the recent flooding which was disappointing but we visited the Melk Abbey instead. He stopped at several small stops on the way for pictures and sightseeing. In all it was a perfect day!

Wolfi was an excellent host. He introduced us to many very nice places. Explained how to not wait in any lines. We had a very fun time. We also learned about riding the metro system, which was very useful for the rest of our stay. He had excellent luck and good timing with the weather too! Good times.

Going down in to the Cellars was fascinating. Our host was extremely knowledgeable & the talk was very interesting. However there were 10 of us in all, so we only had the smallest amount of wine each. (He didn’t even share all the wine out but left some in each of the 3 bottles for the quickest person to nab at the end) I must say we all thought that that seemed rather mean.

We had a really good time. Our guide took care of us and did an excellent job. It would've been nice to see more of the abbey!

This wine tasting tour was AMAZING! Stylianos was great, knowledgeable, and a wonderful host! We learned so much about the different wines in Austria. He’s such a great wine educator and an exemplary host. We tasted 6 different wines, he explained each wine, it was a very interactive experience. We had various cheeses, prosciutto, bread, and interesting discussions. Stylianos educates you on the process of wine making in Austria and the different regions; the varieties of reds and whites. He was answering everyone’s questions; great personality and charm.
This is my top tour that we have done so far during our vacation. I recommend this tour 100%.

On balance, this was an excellent tour: well-organized, well-explained by the guide (Marco), and full of amazing wine, architecture, and food.

Directions to the pick-up spot were easy to follow, and Marco was there to greet us on arrival. We traveled in a group of eight (plus Marco), in a very comfortable Mercedes passenger van. (Note: it was very warm when we visited Vienna, but Marco was incredible in keeping the van very cool and inviting throughout the day.)

During our drive (approximately 1 hour from Vienna), Marco explained a lot to us (using an excellent microphone and speaker so that everyone could hear), about the wine region, the history, and how the varietals had subtle differences.

The two wineries we visited were picturesque, inviting, and INSTAGRAMable. Marco was great in his explanations of each wine, eliciting our comments, and answering any questions we had along the way.

For lunch, Marco took us to a traditional "heuriger": essentially a wine restaurant with picnic-style lunch. Most of the people surrounding us were locals or Austrians on holiday. It was a wonderful way to experience Austrian culture outside of Vienna, and sample more wines (and traditional cuisine). My wife is a vegetarian, and even she was able to find delicious choices on the menu.

After lunch, we took a beautiful cruise along the Danube for approximately one hour. It was pleasant, relaxing, and an opportunity to enjoy some sites outside of Vienna in a very chill atmosphere. The boat had indoor and outdoor tables, with A/C, and a full menu (in case anyone was still hungry after lunch!)

At the conclusion of the boat ride, Marco met us and drove home, but made quick reference to the Melk Abbey. (Note: the fine print of the tour mentions this but I didn't pay attention to it until we got there. The tour of Melk Abbey only takes place in the winter months. I'm not sure why, but the Abbey tour is not part of the summer experience.)

We returned to Vienna approximately 9 hours after our original departure, and had a pleasant experience. Again, Marco was an awesome, personable tour guide and driver, and I would recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for an outside-of-Vienna experience for a day trip, who enjoys dry white wines.

Great tasting wine in some very exclusive places. Our guide was very knowledgeable and told us some very cool facts about the city and its relationship to wine.

We did the self-guided sparkling wine tour included with the NO Card. No wait or line at noon on a Saturday, in fact we were the only visitors most of the time. Really enjoyed the tour-good audio guide, atmospheric cellars and good signage. Only a small sample of wine included at the end, which was fine 😁.

This picnic trip was totally worth it. Much more fun and beautiful than the description implies. The Ape scooter was a hoot and our driver was a delight to be with during the ride to the picnic spot. The location was beautiful. This is not just a simple hill overlooking the city. It’s the center of a vineyard where you will be dropped and left alone to enjoy a perfect picnic of charcuterie, bread, and wine. Very private and I highly recommend for a wonderful couples date.

Great insight into the Vienna food scene in a relaxed, fun way, visiting a number of different places to sample lots of tasty treats, including some very nice local wine. Lukas, our guide, was incredibly knowledgable and the tour was very well thought out.
