Took this walking tour of Vienna with Dace on a cold December morning. Everyone was given a personal audio piece to allow easy listening. Dace made sure that we did not stay still too long and get cold. She gave all the information required and also offered tips on eating, visits, locations etc.
    I would definitely recommend

Good way to see Vienna. We did the whole tour first and then stopped at different locations. Buses were clean and the drivers very helpful.

Our Classic Private City Tour was and is the best introduction to Vienna one could hope for. We were met at our hotel by the extremely lively and convivial Max and escorted to his spotless, roomy and luxurious Mercedes SUV/people-mover. Despite his youth, Max was an absolute fount of historical, artistic, political and present-day knowledge about his home city, whether it was the Lipizzaner horses, Prince Eugene of Savoy, Christmas market gluwien, Freud's favourite cafe or Hundertwasser's alternative architecture. And all delivered with his characteristic wit, charm and brio. I couldn't have asked for a better guide than Max - and one with a great haircut too! (He recommended a fantastic barber for me). If you are travelling to Vienna - and want a comprehensive overview of the city's highlights: the Ringstrasse, the Hofburg, the Belvedere, the Prater, the palaces, museums and other parks - then Max is your man and Wienguide Tours your first and best stop!

We booked a 6 hour tour and explored major attractions in Vienna. Our guide was Matteo. He was very knowledgeable about major city sites and local culture. We made two stops at adorable cafes per our request. Highly recommend this tour if you want to get a good overview of this magical city from a local’s perspective.

We were exhausted after days of touring Prague and nearly cancelled the tour but thankfully we didn’t !! Alexander’s pace, knowledge and recommendations for our short visit in Vienna was absolutely perfect. We felt like we got the grand tour of this amazing city and it left us wanting to come back for more !! Great tour for a lovely introduction to Vienna. Can’t recommend enough !

Before buying the pass I'd recommend doing your research and working out what you'll be doing over how many days. We were in Vienna for 6 full days so bought the 6 day pass, we visited attractions every day but did not exhaust ourselves trying to squeeze too much in. We used the pass at 1, 2 or 3 places per day, depending how big they were. We used the bus on 4 of the days. Overall we saved 70 euros by having the pass, not the massive savings they'd have you expect. Massive savings can only be made if you pack in a lot of attractions every day. We saw enough to be able to enjoy them without being exhausted. Take the hot weather into account too, you might do things more slowly, so less can be fitted in.

Don't believe all the hyped up prices they (and other reviewers) tell you you'll be avoiding. For example the zoo costs €24 per adult, not the 50 I read here. So you don't save as much as you might think. The only reason we made the 70€ saving was through using the hop on hop off bus which is the most expensive thing. If we hadn't used the hop on bus we'd have lost a lot of money in buying the pass.

Also you can get combo tickets from the museums and Palaces which save you money in other ways. So I'd say be prepared, know what you want to do and work out the difference for your own itinerary.

In a way I regret buying the pass because I felt pressured to keep using it to make sure we got our money's worth, which did make for a less leisurely holiday than I'd wanted. Its worth it if you're going to see about three attractions per day and use the hop on bus to get everywhere. Also don't just use the bus for the tour, get one of the other walking tours, much more interesting and personal. The tour on the earphones on the bus is quite boring. My teen stopped listening quite quickly.

We visited last week and were generally quite impressed. We had prebooked so entry was easy.
The building itself is impressive as are the gardens, even on a bleak day in winter. As regards the art, Klimt's Kiss is very impressive and thought-provoking. We did not know that the Jacques-Louis David protrait of Napoleon was here and that was a nice surprise. It really is a magnificent painting.
There are several very good 19th century portraits by Austrian artists also on the ground floor.
However, the modern art section on the upper floor was a disappointment. Very mediocre compared with any other similar collection I can think of. This poor selection included a few by Egon Schiell, not his best in my opinion, that confirm that the the painter was a psychopath.
After the visit we took advantage of the Christmas market on the grounds and, as good tourists, stocked up on Christmas decorations.
Well worth a visit. If you're on a tight schedule give the upper floor a miss.

This was a very interesting and informative trip. Our guide Siggy, was very friendly, pleasant and approachable and clearly had a very good knowledge of her subject. There is quite a bit of walking and standing, which isn’t a surprise for a walking tour, but you need to be aware and make sure you can walk the distances needed.

Absolutely loved this tour. Our tour guide, Flemming, was an encyclopedia of history and Austria. He narrated our tour to Salzburg pointing out interesting places along the way. We stopped at several places along the way to allow us to see some sites. Salzburg was amazing and so was our local guide. Well worth spending a little extra to go with Vienna a la Carte.

2h with an excelent guide even for introverts like us :) was a great time. It could be noted that it was my third time there and the most boring places turned to be the most interesting (for me).
