He debunked many widely held misconceptions about Hitler and his early days before taking power. Many interesting places were visited and he handled everything sensitively and professionally. - Sue D2 contributionsOur tour guide was Maria and she was amazing! We received great information about the city and history along with the food. We happened to do this tour during torrential rain and wind storms. Maria modified trip to subway and street cars which was perfect and learned about another system which proved perfect for getting around even into next day. The food was a great sampling of many authentic food and drinks in various areas of town. Thomas's food cart was the most entertaining and quite tasty favorites. Overall we were so grateful for this tour as it was better than city tour! Maria gave us suggestions for restaurants and other things to visit making this perfect for our first day! The Fall in Love with Vienna tour is a terrific introduction because it allows you to focus on where you want to spend your time. Additionally, our tour guide Nicoleta goes above & beyond with commentary & a prepared handbook of facts about & recommendations for Vienna.
Her devotion to Vienna is clear. His information was very detailed and he was able to answer even the obscure questions we had. Mid-tour we were able to take a drink and relief break (which was very appreciated) where he gave us some fun insights into Austrian culture. Walter also gave our group additional ideas of what else to see and do that would interest us independently- which we used later during our trip.
