- PavlaPavlaChrudim, Czech Republic7,538 contributionsMy partner and I visited several Christmas markets in Vienna. The one on Belvedere was one of the smaller ones, and at the stalls they here mostly offered food and drink. It was nice to walk around and see what the vendors had to offer. And yes, there were a lot of people here (as in all the Christmas markets in Vienna).Written January 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - marek_stycosNew York, New York, United States3 contributionsI will not fly to Vienna without a visit with Andrzej Koch of Der Schweizer. He is a character! Dubbed "The Kaiser", because he is the undisputed emperor of Käsen, your stop here can be a quick in and out, but I recommend planning an hour to sample not only the cheeses, but the wines! He is a master of ceremonies and a prince at pairing. There is no better way to say, "I love you" than to arrive at your lover's side with a parcel of wine and cheese and the tale behind them, worthy of 1001 Arabian Nights.Written September 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lyall DEdinburgh, UK487 contributionsGreat Christmas market, everyone having fun giving it a great atmosphere. Food was good, wine was good . a few stalls also sold Christmas decorations and handcrafted items.
Would certainly go back if ever in Vienna again.Written February 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
