Wonderful shop! My friend and I were in town visiting from New York and looking to do some vintage shopping in Vienna. Out of all of the places we went to, Marcy Vintage was our favorite stop – amazing selection and great prices! Owners were very friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend!

The mannerschniten are a classic treat copied by many but bested by none. So identified in origin with the city the packaging of these delicious wafers includes a picture of Stephansdom church. And the best Manner store is located in the church square, at the very center of Vienna. When visiting Vienna these make an excellent souvenir/gift to bring home and give others.

We found this shop in search of Josef Hoffman glass and this is the place to get it. They have the range and it’s not cheap it is probably the best price you can get. Absolutely beautiful and service was excellent friendly helpful and informative. And do well packed for a journey across the world.

If you are interested in learning how candies are made - then go here for the experience. The people in the place are very very hospitable and explain the candy making process in English and in German when they are doing it - You can't take videos - but you can take photos. They also have samples which you can savor and then try and then buy. Duration - about an hour. They are closed on Sundays.

Visited this place in Vienna during mid day on the 20th of May 2024. Vienna casts its magic spell over you it’s magnificent buildings spread their charm over you as you explore every nook and corner of the city ! A Lipitor bit of history about this place : The Hundertwasser Village was built both on the inside and the exterior by concepts of artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser during the years 1990 and 1991. The building was used as car tyre factory before that time. The flood of people visiting the nearby Hundertwasserhouse led to the idea of constructing a house giving the infrastructure for the visitors. As a travel enthusiast this area in Vienna was very unique !

A city that is worth visiting. To get to know the city avoid the very crowded holiday season. On the other hand, the festive atmosphere was wonderful!

We went there in Sunday and it was a little bit crowdy. The people in cloakroom were the most sluggish we have experienced in Vienna but luckily there are storage locker that are self-serviced by the visitors (1 or 2 € coin required). Be sure to buy tickets online, so you won't have to wait in the queue, which can be tens of people long. Also, it's quite warm there in the winter, so be sure to have water.

As for the exhibitions, all themes are nicely described in english, some additional information are provided near sellected pieces (still a good ammount of reading), as well as audio guide. Route from room to room is indicated by the signs on the passage, it is hard to get lost there once you get to one of few exhibitions held at given time. You are also allowed to take photos without the flash.

A pleasant surprise on our tour!
A nice corner shop next to the Hundertwasserhaus, not so small, with very friendly and attentive service.
We were able to buy all the gifts from Austria that we wanted, with good quality and fair price! We also found the best Zirbenschnaps from Austria there.
    Highly recommended!

Vienna is full of charming, old world shops and experiences and this adorable chocolate and confection shop near the Cathedral is a must-visit for the best artisan chocolates made in Vienna (both dark and milk) and wonderful cakes and tortes (Klimt torte, for example) which are available at some of the city's famous coffee houses.

I recently purchased many Petit Point items from this business internationally. The owners were so helpful from purchase to shipment to delivery. The items are beautiful, works of art. I am so pleased with everything and look forward to when I can return to Vienna to purchase more.

This is a chocolate shop on of the busy tourist streets in Vienna. The shop was filled when i entered.. people buying lots of chocolate. Even though Vienna is expensive, I still found the chocolates to be fairly reasonably priced.
Chocolates were wrapped very nicely for gift giving.. must mention they were very tasty too. My favourite is the flat individually wrapped ones in the shape of coins.
    Would definitley recommend his shop.

This super original spot has products from a bunch of local artists / designers with a range of different products (from furniture and candles to bikes and hoodies). They also have a great outdoor spot with a picnic table where you can sit outside and try some artisanal beers on a quiet side street.

They also host private events, photo shoots and yoga sessions in the back (I tried one of the yoga classes... it was awesome and the teacher was bilingual). The owners are amazing and know everything about Vienna... and were happy to answer all my questions and suggest places to eat.

This is definitely a must-see if you want to experience some local flavor and find something special and unique in Vienna.
