The food tour was a great way of getting to see Vienna and understand the transport system which is pretty impressive. The food itself was amazing and we went to places we would not have even known about. Our guide, Christoph was very knowledgeable and lead us through the day with with kindness and consideration. The small size of the group is a very good idea. My husband doesn't eat meat and his needs were more than catered for. He did not feel left out at all with the meat esters around him. I would highly recommend this tour. Worth every penny!

Our tour was "Vienna's Sweet and Savory Food Scene Small Group." I woke up wondering why I had signed up for a 5.5-hour tour. We ended the tour wondering where the day had gone! We started with a savory, then sweet (strudel, of course) breakfast in a Viennese coffee shop near Stephansplatz and then traveled via metro all over the city seeing charming markets, and EATING – mid-morning snack, pre-lunches, lunch, afternoon snack (I lost track!), while learning about the culture, what made each dish uniquely Austrian and trying surprising combinations. Who knew I’d enjoy pickles and horseradish with my breakfast? But it was yummy - really! Christoff was an engaging and funny tour guide, who gave great descriptions of the food and helped us navigate the city with ease, all while meeting people along the way. My favorite stop was an inconspicuous stall in the market, where the owner shared various samples of Wurst, goulash and our favorite, slow-roasted pork dish which was delicious and right out of the oven. The small group aspect (only 7 in our tour, from 4 countries) was fantastic. Just the right size to enjoy meals and explore the city together. I felt like I had new friends by the end of the day. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Vienna, especially early in your trip as you’ll get a great feel for the city, from hot tourist spots to quiet residential areas. Highlight of our Danube vacation!

Went with friends to this fun Speakeasy Bar. Had lovely cocktails, served by a charming waiter called Robin. Definitely recommend a visit to this bar if in Vienna.

Maria did a great job with a lovely personality! I would recommend her tour to anyone. It ended up just being the 2 of us which brought an even more personal vibe during the tour. She was very knowledge, genuine, and seemed to love what she does. Bravo, Maria! I wish you all the best! 😎

Bought two tickets outside the State Opera house. The tickets ranged from €55,€49 and €42. We were shown a map of the concert hall which seemed large, the ticket seller said it was nearly sold out but that he had two seats near the back and would sell them them for €32 each. We purchased them due to the value and we wanted to experience some Vienna music on our last night. We were left a little disappointed to find that the concert was held in a small room holding approximately 150 chairs! Saying all that, the show was amazing with English commentary before each piece, we felt like we got a very intimate show in the end. Excellent value for money.

Our guide was a woman who had grown up in Vienna, but had been educated in the USA, so there was no issue with language. Our guide was very knowledgeable, but to be honest for us, we found there to be too much talking about things that could have been covered alot quicker. We have done many 'free' walking tours over our years of travelling & we think this was the most boring one we have ever done. We would have liked to have covered alot more ground with less long winded stories.
