Make no mistake, this is not a sophisticated dinner or a sophisticated evening; it is designed for large groups of extra-european tourists and you can't expect sophistication. However, it is all very well designed and organised, and it turns out to be a pleasant event, even if you know Vienna very well. The venues is the cellar of the City hall (the name says it), and it is incredibly vast, with long corridors sided with elegant dining rooms. The Austrian Dinner Show is in the farthest room, and you won't be alone. The food is average ("traditional"), so is the service, so are the drinks. Fixed menu, no choice - but they do accommodate for any individual needs (gluten-free, no beef, etc.) The show is also average in its inception, but it turns out to be very pleasant. The music (a piano, two violins, a cello and a flute) plays a first half of country folk songs, and a second part of more formal operetta arias. The two dancers are very good, and the four singers are good actors - and a soprano in particular has a great voice. In all, a pleasant evening.

It was fantastic experience, the opera structure and the interior decoration are amazing; the music and concerts are well chosen, I attended the concert with my wife, it was truly enjoyable night.

We're not Classical Music people but when in Vienna and this concert was excellent. Nice small room in the palace so quite intimate. It's very casual and mainly tourists. The music was superb, the singers and ballet dancers excellent. We paid €54 not to be at the back, but actually got seats in the 2nd row. As it's a small venue I'd say the view is good from all seats. Definitely worth a visit.

Was a little worried having bought the tickets from a man on the street, but I need not have bothered. We arrived at the Haus der Industrie on the Schwarzbergplatz not sure what to expect but it looked exactly as it did on the website and in the brochure, we had been shown.
One thing to note is that you are not allowed to wear coats or take bags into the concert hall and you must leave them in the cloak room for which you are charged 1euro.
There is a selection of drinks and mementos on sale at the top of the stairs outside the room which are quite reasonably priced.
The hall is beautiful but as many have said the seats are all on one level and you are only guaranteed a good view if sitting near the front. We had Imperial tickets though having bought them on the street we did not pay the full price, so do try to barter the price down from what is asked.
The concert was excellent, it was performed by 10 musicians along with a soprano and two dancers. The music was so well played me and family were completely taken into the musical world of Vienna. Neither myself nor my husband are fans of opera, but we really enjoyed the soprano Anna Ryan.
We were sitting on the right, in front of the orchestra which meant that we could not really see the ballet/dancers because of the conductor and his music stand but as this was such a small part of the show that it was not a big problem.
If you buy these tickets I am sure that you will enjoy the show.
