What travelers are saying
- dottidWrexham County, UK76 contributionsReally beautiful archaeological site to walk around. Lots of information about the various buildings excavated. Excellent value for money.
Way better site to visit than Tomb of the Kings - in my opinion.Written May 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Mike SWitham, UK1,730 contributionsWe walked here every day, it was so lively, so much going on, so much to see. An old fort, lots of boats, acheological sites, restaurants, souvenir shops, boat trips, artists, it had the lot, never got bored there.Written May 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Catherine L19 contributionsFabulous afternoon experiencing the micro brewery's range of beers, ales and ciders with the all inclusive food and drinks package and the tour / explanation of their brewing processes. From the friendly pick up from our villa and throughout the afternoon, nothing was too much trouble, and the friendly service from all was truly hospitable. The tour from the co-owner Bill was enlightening and also showed their journey from idea to present day.
Whether you plan to go or spontaneously visit ( as we did earlier) the experience is just as good.
Well done team!Written May 20, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - chloeUnited Kingdom4 contributionsVery fun water park plenty to do, including fun things like inflatables that you don’t usually get. Not everything open yet :)Written April 9, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Predrag SLjubljana, Slovenia101 contributionsShort drive from Pafos to Akamas peninsula is Avakas Gorge; it is a narrow canyon with very slipery rocks. Please do not go in flip flops, should be with walking shoes as there is water running through canyon.Written May 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Michal12 contributionsWe’ll preserves and maintain. Not too many tourists in May. Very pleasant staff. Worth of going there to relax. It’s a nice and quite place we’re you can go for a walk in a park after visiting monastery itself.Written May 20, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Fiona M3 contributionsVery fascinating place, could spend hours exploring in the tombs. Remember and take water with you, we went on a very hot day and forgot and had to cut our visit short because we were very thirsty. Luckily an ice cream van sits outside which sells cold drinks as well. Definitely worth a visit.Written May 22, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- CcjrcNorthampton, UK82 contributionsGreat to walk around these extensive remains from thousands of years ago. It is spectacular and definitely worth a visit.Written April 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- JamesWa91510 contributionsHad a lovely day at the zoo. Had a once in a lifetime experience feeding Shoba the elephant, experience very well organised. The bird show is good and can hold a parrot or owl for €5 afterwards. Reptile house one of the best we have been to. All the animals looked very well cared for and the staff were all friendly the majority English speaking. Food and drink reasonably priced and park very clean . Only thing I would say is more signage directing you around the park.Written May 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- WestLondon, UK14 contributionsDefinitely worth a visit!
We visited in April no turtles etc (Best go end of May if you want to see any)
The beach was nice and is a very small family run cafe, would not eat there but the drinks were reasonable priced.
The road to get there is very very long unmade road with lots of potholes, rocks etc however we had a hire car (Ford Fiesta) and took it slow and no damage etc.
Bare in mind it takes a while to get there on the unmade road but when you eventually see a worn out sign go past it an take the next left.
100% worth it a brave the road :)Written April 22, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - The Flying SpaniardSofia, Bulgaria2,442 contributionsNice place, located at the city center, out the archaeological site. It is worth a visit, even if it is a little bit hidden.Written April 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- maxisalesWalsall, UK177 contributionsChurch was closed when we went this year but the site is lovely, peaceful and calm. Worth looking up for an hour of peace and quite and so interesting looking at the old construction. Christmas 2019 we went to the Christmas Eve service - it is an Anglican Church so, Christmas Carols were in English and afterwards we went back to the vicar's house for mince pies :)Written April 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- maxisalesWalsall, UK177 contributionsNice place to spend a few hours - the usual mall experience but with outside coffee lounges on the balcony with heaters, easy chairs and pretty buzzing. Nice to watch the world go by. Lots of shops with different designs to the UK, Jumbos is a go to for all Brits - a few lovely little bargains and quirky gifts - go here before shopping as you have to leave your bags at the entrance door - although a guard is there, it's a nuisance to go back as it's on the ground floor and you exit the store on the first floor!!Written April 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Dorothy S2 contributionswe spent here the sunset ohh my god such a beautiful place. They have opened a bar, restaurant near by so people could have a chill time and watch the sunset.Written December 18, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- N HNewton Le Willows, UK3,343 contributionsThere are good views from the top of the harbour and surrounding area. Inside the castle there are exhibitions of how climate change and man’s destruction is affecting the local area with art made out of litter.
At only €2.50 it’s worth a visit but doesn’t take long.Written April 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
