- PeebsAshton-under-Lyne, UK26 contributionsWhat can I say about this Cathedral one of the finest. Separate altars for all the regions of the Order. Fabulous paintings by Matea Preti but of course the stars of the show are the two works of Caravaggio. - MadDogMoodyBridgwater, UK10 contributionsExcellent time at Lascaris War Rooms. Mike, the tour guide, made it all fascinating and insightful. People who chose not to do the guided tour really missed out big time, as he made it all come alive as if he'd been part of the incredible history of it himself. I can't recommend the War Rooms highly enough. A couple of hours very well spentWritten September 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carmen G21 contributionsFantastic museum. Sets out the history of War in Malta through 6 stages. Really enjoyed the visual aspects and videos throughout. Gives a good overview of history of Malta
Easy to read and fantastic photos and exhibits.
Could use more chairs as lots of standing and reading.

The audio guide you can listen to on your mobile phone is good, and there is an interesting visitor centre at the beginning where you can learn more about the temples. We found the walk to the sites fine even though we wouldn't class ourselves as being particularly fit.Written August 14, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tirren8 contributionsWe visited and took part in the guided tour with Leah. Leah provided lots of interesting information about the building, family, and Maltese history. The home itself is beautiful and still lived in, so very interesting to be able to see.
We also enjoyed seeing the WWII bomb shelters below the home, and meeting the parrot Kiku!Written September 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nick FTrowbridge, UK38 contributionsA lovely place. Arrived by Uber from Senglea which was 15 euro. Busy but not too overcrowded and we visited on a Friday in August. Water is very clear and certainly worth taking a dip - very refreshing on a hot day. Boat trip was 10 euro and about 20 minutes but worth it if you’ve taken the trouble to come here. Caves looked great from the sea. Overall, a lovely day out.Written August 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
