Series of caves visited by a fleet of small boats.

Quite a steep walk to and from the car parks, down to a jetty where many small boats arrive to take you around the headland into several caves. Lovely scenery and interesting light effects.

Can get a bit choppy, and the boats don'r set out if it is at all rough.

I went to the Dingli Cliffs on a very hot July morning. I took a bus from Rabat to the Maddelena stop at Dingli. I was one of the only tourists out and about that morning. I sat on a shady bench by the church and gazed at the vista. I walked from the church past the radio receptor. I was disappointed that the Cliffs restaurant was not open for breakfast, but there was a snack/gift truck back at the church. I got a prickly pear juice, which was refreshing after the heat.

From Dingli, I walked to the Clapham Junction cart ruts and caves. This was a little crazy to do on such a hot day. I think every other tourist on the island went to the beach. Walking this route in the spring or fall would be very enjoyable.

The cliffs are stunning, but if you're not on this part of the island, I wouldn't go out of your way just to stop at Dingli. Incorporate it as part of a route for the day, especially if you are renting a car.

Short walk away from the village centre is a elevated constructed platform with magnificent views, the walk in its self is easy and flat with views of the awesome Victoria lines which stretch across malta, also take some time to walk around the 16th century village and church I have a video on this place and many around Malta take a look on YouTube Englishman In Malta

A very large & deep doline (sinkhole) collapsed in 1393, adjacent is a quaint chapel which was enlarged. The sinkhole is full of shrubbery and wildlife. Access a bit difficult & uneven from the road. The viewing places are safe, and the parvis has outdoor benches under very old carob trees.
