Xwejni Salt Pans Zebbug
#9 of 95 things to do in Island of Gozo
Family run business for several generations!
Although no longer collected commercially, 3 local families still harvest the pans between May and September, storing their yield in the caverns carved into the sandstone cliffs behind.

Xerri's Grotto Xaghra

Truly spectacular natural formations, with lovely anecdotes from the family about discovering these wonderful shapes as children.
The story of its discovery is fun and the small scale makes it good for families - ours enjoyed spotting the different animal shaped formations.
Dwejra Bay

We took a boat ride (€4 pp) on the inland sea which was breathtaking and the highlight for the kids.
...but there is also a lovely, family run cafe if you go down the hill where the boats are..very cheap and ideal for lunch after a pic of the Window or before a little dip in the bay️

Inland Sea San Lawrenz
#21 of 95 things to do in Island of Gozo
The boat ride was 4 euros and was well worth it to go and see where the azure window once was via the beautiful cave .. The children aged from 3-17 all enjoyed it although the weather was quite window so there was...
... the bay to where you see fungus rock and where the Azure Window was, only €4 per person, really worth it for the views - and easier with younger kids than clambering around the bay on a sharp limestone ledge.
