Films of an active volcano and northern lights are great. Ice cave is fun to explore and there are wonderfully informative exhibitions about glaciers and the flora and fauna of Iceland. We were lucky to be just ahead of the tour buses, so we had easy access to all the attractions.

Been there few times and it was always a magical experience.

The exterior architecture is phenomenal though the main hall inside is rather bleek looking, the musical hall however is spectacular and the staff are always wonderful.

A beautiful church with simplistic lines. The modernity of this building did not distract from the impression of a house of God which could have been the case when one is used to the churches of say France or UK. Very well worth going up in the lift to the bell tower, having a bird's eye view on Reykyavik and getting a close view of those bells!

This is a very interesting museum. They have 2 floors of exhibits. The information at each exhibit is in multiple languages including English. You can spend an entire day there if you read everything. The is a lot of information shared on the life stile of the Icelandic people over centuries. Very worth your time to go here.

Small but a great way to learn about the aurora. The explanation of the science is easy to understand. Info re: photography was very helpful.

Great 18th and 19th restored and reproduced village. Gives a great taste of life 200 years ago in Iceland. Tour guides were great. They were very informed and educational.

We were staying at a hotel nearby and decided to go shopping for souvenirs and a place to have lunch. There are plenty of dining options in the area. Lots of places for souvenirs. My favorite stop was a candy shop with a chocolate tasting. Rainbow Street is also a fun and unique stop. Great place to explore and walk around when visiting the area!

We were two daughters ages 12 and 14 and my husband and me. It was inexpensive for a family of 4. We spent two hours there. You get bracelets you have to scan to enter and leave. There are handicapped/family/gender neutral changing rooms with a key. There were many pools and hot pots of different temperatures. I wish we could have gone a second time!

This little lake in the middle of the city is nice. I wouldn't say to go out of your way but if you happen upon it, it's a nice area.

Having gone here straight after seeing Humpback whales in all their glory it may have taken a bit of the shine off the exhibits. The obvious thing when entering the hall is the sheer size of the whales, the blue whale being truly awe inspiring.

You get an audio guide telling you about each whale which is useful and there is also an interesting video about noise pollution and its effect on whales.

At around £16.00 per person its about as cheap as it gets in Iceland for something like this and you'll get just over an hours entertainment for that which isn't too bad.

Overall this isn't an essential thing to do but is interesting nonetheless if you have any interest in wildlife.

If you visit Hallgrimskirkja you will see him. We took some pics and I glad we did. I tried to find all the statues in Reykjavik.

The experiences of both Fly Over Iceland and the Wild West were great. The staff was excellent and we got an incredible feel for what's available in this diverse country. It was a great way to start our visit to Iceland.

Thank you for booking the tour!
I went down to the city centre. All tour operators had cancelled the Northern Lights tours but they found one that operated. It was with Reykjavik outventure.
Yandi went to several places to find the lights and finally we got them!

The boiling springs and super-hot mud at Seltun are amazing to see--and to smell! The stench is unbelievable, but don't let it deter you from seeing the whole area. The colors are beautiful and the sounds of the water, steam, and boiling mud are impressive. Definitely worth a side trip.
