The museum is located in one of the hot water tanks used for water storage for Reykjavik. There are 2 very special exhibits, the planetarium with a focus on the Northern Lights exhibit and the ice cave, but there is way more information available in the written materials in the exhibits and in the interactive displays. There is information on climate, the animals of the country, the geology, the bird cliffs and with the upper decks, wonderful views of Reykjavik. Fortunately, there are English Language translations on most of the exhibits and in the Planetarium.
We were disappointed that they didn't offer a book for sale on the different exhibits in the museum. Rather they directed us to view the website.
