It's not as cold as other ice bars, perhaps as its Iceland and people may not want to have it too cold. The staff were very friendly. - Tim W14 contributionsThe food was absolutely delicious and the service was even better. Our group had the fin whale, served rare, cooked perfectly. So wonderful. Four Americans were quite surprised how much they enjoyed this dish- like a steak.
We also had the fish and chips- what a treat. Fresh cod wrapped lovingly in batter, with fries. We also had the meat soup (lamb) with bread, and both were wonderful.
To top it off, the service was attentive and prompt.

The bartender was the best, checking in with us about our time in Reykjavik, and checking in when someone became a bit too friendly... We stumbled across Bravo Bar on one of our first nights, and made it a regular stop throughout our time. Cannot recommend it enough. The location is extremely convenient, very near the city center plaza and hotels (1 block ), the cruise docks (3 blocks), and Reykjavik city hall ( 2 blocks). It fits perfectly into the youth and fun that is the Icelandic spirit.
