- JB81ontheroadHalifax Regional Municipality, Canada437 contributionsFrom the front, the Old Market Hall looks SMALL. And guess what: it is! I was worried it was going to be full of the same crap you can find in every other market hall. But the facility is in impeccable shape, and the vendors sell some seriously quality food. So glad we visited!Written September 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Thomas VOakland, CA17,709 contributionsLocated on a big open square, this is one of the city's food markets. Happy to see so many different fruits and vegetables available. We did not buy, but looking was much fun.Written July 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Steve DDivonne-les-Bains, France846 contributionsThe best judge of Stockmanns is not me it’s my wife and she loved it.
She felt it had the same ambiance as such famous stores as Globus and Harrods.
I rest my case.Written August 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Really enjoyed the busy vibe and some of the street food vendors. Can be hectic at key times but obviously a place to go. You also get all your boat trips to the nearby islands from here as well as ferries. The cruise ships are around the corner but you still see some big boats here. Nearby Ferris wheel and other attractions plus restaurants and cafes. There are also places to sunbathe and swimming pools in paid for segregated sections if you want. Seagulls hang around here but as long as you don’t encourage them they don’t pester you. A lot Helsinki’s main attractions are in walking distance so you can see the famous white cathedral over the harbour area buildings that makes for a great picture if coming into port from a boat trip.Written August 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - B KGurugram (Gurgaon), India186 contributionsQuite a central location. We discovered this as we had to take a bus to Seeurasaari Island.
The mall is located above the bus station and the metro station.
I was very impressed with the way the bus station is organised.
The mall has a huge variety of stores and eateries.
If you want to explore and shop for the mid range brands , this place is a great option and is well connected too.Written July 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I thought it was a hotel, but when I saw some of its customers coming out of the store with shopping bags, I realized that it is another big store.
I briefly walked around and checked out their merchandises and prices. Did not buy anything here, having purchased stuffs that I needed at the Stockman Department Store.Written May 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Nowadays it offers maybe even better shopping opportunities than the city center under one roof. There is a huge movie theater, many cafeterias and restaurants and a metro station with bus connections futher on. The old shopping centre beside it has become an equally popular ethnic food area with big Turkish supermarkets.Written January 20, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Heli PHelsinki, Finland7,461 contributionsThough situated at the edge of the Design District facing the Agricola Church the private fleamarket has gained popularity during recent times.
The basic selection upstairs consists of everyday clothing, bags, jewellery and tableware items. Downstairs through the narrow staircase is a different world with exquisite antique furniture, interior design and miscellaneous bric-a-brac.Written March 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. S/he kindly wrapped the book gift for me in a lovely manner. I am very grateful to their kindness and artistic taste.
I love they have beautiful poetry, like MANY famous English ones including also International ones like Rumi. I wish they had more poetry books and some recommendations throughout the bookstore. I couldn't reach out to ask for suggestions.
Also this place has a lovely selection of postcards with beautiful Finnish words. I wish they had more from the art of Finnish painters like Martha W and more.Written August 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
