This is an attraction with rides, food and midway-type games. Clearly the place is intended for, and used by, teenagers. However, it is fun to wander around get something to eat. If you have kids, buy a pass and you get some peace and quiet while they have fun.

There is a tram ( #3) that lets you off right in front. That is a lot better than driving and parking.

I think this is a great place for kids even though I would consider it slightly pricy during the high season given what it offered. You can see Santa's car, gift shops, and a small Santa post office. You can also meet with Santa and decorate your own Elf or gingerbread cookie. They have an Elf acrobatic show which lasts ~15mins and I really enjoyed, lots of trampolines. There is an Elf school you can attend and a magic train. I think for kids it's a really great experience.

We did the Christmas dinner and really enjoyed our experience. We have 2 girls ages 5 and 7 and they were over the moon with so many eleves to play with and a visit with Santa. The two things I would note:
1- this was supposed to be a 3 hour experience but they were 30 min late to pick us up. Which made for very stressed kids who thought they had forgotten us and it made the experience feel rushed, as instead of still having the 3 hours our time was cut short. They had an amazing bonfire which we didn’t get to enjoy, the cutting and trimming of the tree was rushed and dinner was rushed as well.
2- after having paid such an high price per person for this dinner, they didn’t include drinks and we had to pay an extra 5 euros for soft drinks. I mean honestly, just charge 5 more euros and include the drink and be done with it. Instead they brought a cart and went around the tables charging people, which felt very distasteful.

I would still recommend the experience as our kids loved it.

We came from the UK especially to visit Moomin World as our autistic daughter (in her 20’s) has always loved the moomins, and has been asking to visit for years.
Entrance fee was expensive considering there are no rides and not that much going on (you could see everything within a couple of hours) but the place is quite charming, with characters wandering about and interacting with guests. As Finland is so expensive, we took our own lunch, however had a plate of 2 pancakes which were about 8 euros. For us, to fulfil our daughter dream of coming to Moomin World, the cost was well worth us and we spent several hours there.

It's the largest amusement park in Finland. Avoid during weekends since it may easily get overcrowded.

Visited the park today and it was amazing! The puppies were cute and beautiful and all the other animals were fabulous!! The park was spotless and it was obvious the animals were extremely well cared for. The husky’s were fantastic and the rude on the frozen lake was sublime! The guide was informative and did a fantastic job hearing the group of adults who were not listening to simple instructions!! I would highly recommend this trip!! 10 out of 10

Outdoor swim and suana. The pool was warm even though pretty cool weather. It was only 6 euro both pool and suana. For locals and toursits alike. Male and females are seperated and had a good atmosphre spent 3 hours easiky. On tram 2 it was only about 5 stops on the tram from central station. Nice long pool built for the olympics that didnt happen due to WW2 and diving boards. Worth a half day.

When I had headlined with "Try it for yourself", it is so one is not easily swayed from the idea of actually going there.

I do agree with a few points made out by some and believe some of these concerns should be addressed! However, I do also believe that if you go with an open mind and wanting fun, you'll find it. That's exactly what we found yesterday when we attended.

We did skip the long queues due to buying the tickets in advance. Just an easy smart little tip for all to do whom read this.

We got there and found the locker rooms with ease and got ready for what looked to be a promising day.

We had so much fun on the slides. We liked the 120 metre one indoors, the 80 metre one indoors and the 2 person ring ones outside the most.

I noticed someone had mentioned that it was hard to slide down them. I noticed this with some people also but my wife who was sat down went really fast and myself whom was laid down also went really fast. Maybe we got lucky! However it was the majority that I'd seen on the slides going fast. Luck of the draw? Who knows!

OK, so the queues aint so great and more staff at the top by the slides would be good as there seemed to be a few people always trying to push in. I'll say this honestly, it was the same people over and over. They were clearly from outside of Europe like Asia and North Africa. Apart from that, no worries.

Outside slides (the tiger slides) felt really weird to stand on as the platform is Hugh and very shaky. Would be good to fix that or add more support.

So yeah, overall very good with the slides.

The restaurant, very expensive for what it is. It was chaotic and to make things worse, got my simple order wrong! I will say this, the girl dealing with the matter was nice, dealt with it fast and sorted it. So, it wasn't all bad.

I'll definitely be back one day with the kids. I know they would love it there.

We went to the park on a cloudy and slightly cold day. Perhaps that's the reason the park was not crowded at all, and most of the rides had no line at all.
The park is mostly for young children. The rides are nice and not too scary. There aren't too many rides for teenagers or adults.
We bought wristbands for all the family, but actually it was enough to get wristbands for the kids only.

Went on a hot summer day (~30C) with three teenage boys so four of us for around 80 Euro entry fee. Parking is free and we found a space easily at 11.30 (park opens at 11).

    Positives:
-lots of varied slides for different experience / intensity...our favourite was the blue and white striped two person slide with steep drop into a half pipe - great fun!
-good options for younger kids (pirate themed smaller slides & tubes in shallow water and bouncy castles)
-longest queue for a slide was no more than a few minutes
-free lockers that will fit a small rucksack (no deposit needed)
    -park is clean and tidy
-very safety conscious with good staff levels supervising the slides
-food prices not too outrageous for a captive audience, but you can also take own food in (at least we saw others doing that)

    Could improve:
-we were lucky to find some sun loungers with shade under a large umbrella, but there didn’t seem to be many umbrellas around the park so can be a long day in the sun
-Finland had hottest July on record so unfortunately the wasp population is thriving - there were a lot around the main food area particularly attracted to the self serve soda dispensers
-bottled water on a hot day can become pretty expensive at ~2.5 euro for 0.5l bottle...but they did give tap water in cups at the main food area when asked

    We left happy :-)

Inside theme park at the "Capri" Shopping center. 18 eur for each (3 yrs and up) or 58 eur for the whole family. You can leave the place and come back with the bracelet. Our 5 yrs old boy enjoyed very much and I can imagine it will be even better after few years, when he gets older. In my opinion, it's a little bit over priced - compared to bigger outdoor theme parks. But hey, this is fun also in winter time or when it's raining!

Video games, rope slide, foam block sea, inside real ice hockey and football style games, paddle cars, slides, Angry Birds toons.

There is also variety of merchandise available and a cafe.

Good for children, especially the water war. Pricy for adults, since nothing to do. Would probably generate more visitors if free for adults.

During our visit to Hämeenlinna we visited this place and spent about 2 hours taking a slow stroll and just sitting next to the lake. There is also an outdoor swimming pool, adventure park and cafe at this place.

Visited with my wife and 3 kids(5-7-9 yrs). Great variety of activities for the entire family. We spent 6 hours there, including dinner break. The Food was typical fast food, not the best, but ok. We paid total 88 euros for the entrance. Definetly worth it.
