- CassimaSKBicester, UK291 contributionsGood to combine with the other walks in Zemun - lovely waterfront and many swans. A perfect place to sit down and enjoy the snacks bought at the market or choosing one of the local restaurants, before continuing making the rest of your way to Zemun tower.Written January 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Larry AJackson, CA531 contributionsDuring my first couple of visits to Belgrade over the years, the tower has been in various states of repair and refurbishment. However, the past two trips, I just could not stay away! Even from the ground are nice views of Zemun, the Dunave River and Belgrade. From the top, the views are even more stunning and distant! Each time it's a must for me to visit!Written November 27, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jivko VSofia, Bulgaria1,501 contributionsSmall building, located in the center of Zemun, just next to the market. Nice place for a walk and relaxing, roaming around and have some drinks at the next cafes.Written February 16, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TravelsRUs74 contributionsNice Catholic church in Zemun. It is next to a police station in the Zemun square so you can't miss it. If you go Sunday you can go to a service and go to the farmers market afterwards or before.Written February 10, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ArtukasLondon, UK21 contributionsIf you're in Zemun or planning to be, then it is worth seeing. We did go especially from Belgrade as we're interested in synagogues. We had food at the restaurant that is housed there and had a look inside. It is also an opportunity to walk around a less touristy neighbourhood that is more residential. got the feeling that the ceiling inside was much higher than the current one when it was synagogue. It must have been nice. It does however give an idea.Written September 9, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MetalMindZemun, Serbia492 contributionsThis is one of the most significant houses, and the oldest one in Zemun. Unfortunately, no one takes care of it. In 1717. after he conquered Zemun, Prince Eugene Of Savoy, stayed at this place. Under the house is underground passage. There is belief that during the winter when people did not have fridges, that place was storage for the ice which was cut with saws from Danube. To preserve ice, people were putting the straw on it.
This place, full of history and interesting stories deserves some renovation.Written August 29, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It seems no one cares about it. Really asid picture.Written August 4, 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
