After booking, were offered a choice between a tour at 11am or 2pm. We chose the earlier one.
It was just us on the tour. Our guide told us there is never more than 7 or so kayaks on a tour due to safety reasons.
Our guide was really friendly and he had great English. We loved chatting with him.
In terms of the tour itself, it was chilled. I read a review or two saying it could be tiring but our guide went at the pace we wanted too. My girlfriend and I had a dual kayak and were sometimes rowing, sometimes just floating. We were also laughing our heads off the whole time! Particularly when I accidentally hit her around the head with the paddle haha. He was happy to take photos of us when asked as well.
Halfway during the tour, we took a break on the Island’s beach and how long we stayed was our decision. We stayed for around 20 mins and then set off again (although I don’t think they’d let you stay for hours so don’t plan for that!).
From getting into the kayak to leaving, it was around 3 hours. However, your time may vary due to ability, how long you stay on the beach, group size etc.
It’s worth doing on a sunny day and fairly inexpensive.
