The boat was lovely and has two decks - indoor and outdoor. Ensure you arrive early if you wish to have an outdoor seat on the second deck. The guiding and explanation was good; we did not try the restaurant. - Mon V9 contributionsWonderful and entertaining evening hike in the national park. Francisco our guide led our small group (6 people) wonderfully - dinner by the lake at sunset was the icing on the cake of the hike. Even swimming in the lake is possible (don't forget your towel) - Conclusion: After my 3-day city tour with many sights in Stockholm, immersing myself in Sweden's nature is simply wonderful. - Dominik188113Zurich, Switzerland49 contributionsInteresting trip to the outskirts if Stockholm. Daniel, our driver, was very pleasant and provided a lot of information about Stockholm and other things we saw from the van. Once arrived, we had a Swedish dinner in order to win time (the animals get out of their woods when it gets darker/cooler). Then we jumped again on the van and drove to the places they frequently find mooses and deers. Whether or not you see animals, is a question of luck, I guess. We saw one moose and lots of deers etc. I would have loved to park the van on one of this spots and wait till they come out of the forest or to have a walk in the forest, but there was no time for such excursions. So finally we have not seen many animals (at least not those we cannot see in our home country) but have seen lakes and historic buildings. I personally think it would be better to offer a trip starting at 8 to 11 without dinner but more time to see animals.
But despite shortage of time, the trip was nice, interesting and comfortable! Worth doing it!! We learned so much about the history of Stockholm, Sweden, and its relation to the whole Nordic region. We saw many sites and learned details that we wouldn’t have if we went by ourselves. He selected interesting trails, we saw beautiful scenery, had a swim and a campfire lunch, and great conversation. - Grace W1 contributionI cannot recommend this enough. Alexandra is the sweetest and went out of her way to pick me up and drop me off at my hotel. She took me out to some really stunning spots on the water and islands. She also brought yummy snacks - always a plus. My best outing in Stockholm. You can tell she really loves what she does and it reflects in the experience.
