Indoors street food market; but don’t be fooled. This is not a regular street food market. It’s a beautiful place, with nice restaurants. Foodies’ little heaven!

E-commerce is leaving its mark, for those of us who like to stroll around and see and feel products, it is a challenge when more and more stores close.NK holds the flag high when offering a pleasant environment, a good range of quality products.Several eateries in different price ranges, most of them good in their segment. Don't forget ROT in Saluhallen, which offers an exciting range

We stopped in here to explore the market and have lunch. The market is small and is mostly restaurants and occupies two floors. Many of the restaurants specialize in fish and we did try a fish chowder at one of them that was quite good. Other cuisines are also represented, including several Asian restaurants. There is also a very interesting licorice shop here. Licorice is extremely popular here and it was fun to see all the different kinds and sample a few. It is worth stopping in if you are in the area, but I might not travel a long way to get here.

Nice place to shop. Fairly good number of choice retail. It is said one of the first real mall to open in the city. Expect big crowds during peak hours however.

You need to take a tram (One stop) to get here and a three minute walk - a nice secluded space with interesting contemporary shows - please check the dates as it will be closed for Summer.

This mall is characterized by unique shops, restaurants, and cafes.

It has a very striking-looking entrance with a colorful LED ceiling.

We visited here just to dine at 18|89 Fast Fine Pizza on the 1st floor.

We visited this special place in 1996 and again in 2019. Happy to see it is still operating and thriving for it's friendly and knowledgeable owner. Well worth the visit.

Here you do not need to be crowded, admission is free so anything you have not planned out in detail is possible.A little sports history, a little Swedish sports history, a separate exhibition and a sports lab where you can try out some of your own skills. We top it off with accommodating staff and there were some interesting hours

Hötorgshallen is a market hall on Stockholm's Hötorget. It was easy for us to visit here as our hotel Haymarket by Scandic was located next to the hall.

The current hall was built in 1958. It has forty stores on two floors. They sell food from all over the world.

It seemed to be very popular during lunchtime. There were long queues everywhere.

I was impressed with this shopping centre. It's small but the shops are really good. There's a kitchen shop, whose name I can't remember, but it had excellent quality products e.g. Le Creuset, and there was a good sale on the day we were there. There's a wonderful Freshii restaurant on the ground floor - the food was lovely and fresh and tasty with numerous healthy options. This centre can hold it's own with larger centres and it's nice not to see the same outlets repeated everywhere.

Small gallery with interesting and high quality photos. Takes about 20-30 mins to explore the exhibition if you are not interested in technical details etc. Free entry.

Strictly speaking to call the Fotografiska Musèet a museum is perhaps a misnomer, in the sense that it is not about the history of photography, let alone about how the art of photography grew-up and developed in Sweden. I would describe it more as an art gallery which displays works of art using a photographic medium to express themselves.

When we went in May there were four photographic shows by four different contemporary artists and also a photo-reportage about a sweat-shop factory which collapsed a few years ago in Bangladesh’s capital Dacca causing death and destruction.

The building housing the Photography Museum is in itself stunning ( the old customs house ) situated on the waters’ edge with an amazing view across the Stockholm archipelago.

Recently I like to come to Tensta. It feels different from central Stockholm, and more ineresting. People look more engaged into what they do, they are somewhat more serious. Tensta konsthall is one of such examples. I don't understand anything in modern art, but I like the soul of this place. White, spacious, welcoming, full of hopes. Btw, there is no obligatory fee for the exhibition, one may simply donate some money if he wants. And there is a small café where delicious coffee is poured from jebenas, and one may look at the snow through the huge window. What if I say that Tensta may become a new Söder?
