This was my 2nd visit (first time was 2017) and enjoyed it again. I paid more attention to history. Movie is a must to get a good understanding of the history and why it sank. Beautiful ship and the construction of the ship was magnificent. Must visit if you’re in Stockholm.

This place was amazing. It was lovely how the streets had been left the same they have been for hundreds of years. It truly was like stepping back in time. There are plenty of amazing restaurants, museums and gift shops as well as many old staues and shop signs.

This place really enchanted me, as I walked for hours deep inside the snowy forest, searching for some quietness. In walking distance from the city’s centre lies this park, a beautiful slice of nature between the city’s noisy neighborhoods, where you can enjoy some time with your loved ones or yourself. There are signs indicating the paths, and small businesses to drink coffee, but I didn’t visit any. I recommend walking, deep and high in the forest as it is a magnificent experience. Truly a place that demands your attention.

Visit this place if you go during a sunny day and have half a day to spare. The houses were brought from different locations and have the original furniture inside, it's kind of a small museum in each house. There are houses that belong to craftmanship and there are workshops or presentations is each house. There is a large market place where you can buy food and drinks. There is also an aquarium with all sorts of fish, a zoo for kids and a location with nordic animals.

Didn’t know anything about abba except the song gimme gimme gimme but was cool. Was fun to learn about them and some of the shows had pretty good displays

It's a must have when you visit the city. You can have the guided your inside the city hall and then climb in the tower. It has an elevator ride to an intermediary level which has an exhibition of statues and then it's by foot until you reach the top and from there some stairs. The view of the city is worth the climbing. You cannot climb with massive bags so you will have to have them stored downstairs.

By mistake when going to visit this palace we saw the changing of the guard which was so worth seeing. Two sections were closed when we visited cause there was a preparation of an oficial visit in the upcoming days. The rooms were sparsely furnished, there were many medals, uniforms and some glass and porcelain objects. The ticket included a visit at the apartments, the treasury, and Krone museum downstairs.

This was a great experience on our recent trip to Stockholm. Lots of colourful and interesting food to look at and eat. It had a busy but informal atmosphere. Well worth a visit in a lunchtime.

If you are a photography lover then Fotografiska is the right place for you. The collection was mostly consisted of portraits and everyday moments clicks.
Don't miss visiting the café restaurant on the top floor since it a has an amazing view to the canals.

It is a lovely walk from Gamla Stan to Södermalm where Monteliusvagen is located. The cobblestone streets and charming buildings along the way make the walk worthwhile. The panoramic views over Gamla Stan and Stockholm as you walk along Monteliusvagen are stunning. Keep walking and you will come to beautiful Ivar Los Park with its amazing views. This is a great location for a picnic lunch or dinner, especially as the sun is setting!

Sodermalm is a less-touristy and beautiful area in Stockholm. It was not overrun by tourists when I visited but had a nice crowd that was not overwhelming like Old Town. It's I truly one if the nicer area in the city and the view from there is worth the visit. It has many restaurants and a generally more laid back feel. A definite must-visit.

People told us that the Viking exhibition at the Historic Museum was better than the Viking Museum so we checked it out and it was pretty neat to see all they had. We spent about an hour and half and probably needed another hour there. If you have time, include it in your itinerary. The rest of the museum especially the Gold room looked amazing.
