What travelers are saying
- md1mmSheffield, UK1,621 contributionsThis is an amazing building architecturally. It is free to enter and if you are involved in academia in any way, it is worth visiting. You will see what the libraries of tomorrow will be like. Huge, heated, ventilated with lots of different places in different floors, exhibitions, cafe, shop/bookshop etc. Had I lived in Copenhagen I would be a frequent visitor, even though I would never borrow a single book.Written July 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Thomas VOakland, CA17,557 contributionsWe stopped here as we walked around the downtown area and picked up some information on things to do and asked about places to eat. Helpful staff.Written July 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- lpatin776712Province of Barcelona, Spain4 contributionsI visited Parken for a concert, the top/roof was closed I guess due to the rain or because the shows production preferred it that way. In section C3 the view was ok; it is not a huge stadium so you get a good view. The sound was not great, and I think it was more of a venue issue than due to the sound staff, because I saw the show in another venue and the sound was great. It is close to a metro station so you can get there and out of there with no problem, the is when more than 50 thousand ppl get out of stadium together, saw better organization at other venues.Written July 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mikael FHelsinki, Finland31,139 contributionsCopenhagen Main Library is located opposite Copenhagen Synagogue. The modern library has four floors filled with books.
You can also just take a seat on the ground floor and read one of the many international newspapers available while enjoying a cup of coffee at the attached cafe, Democratic Coffee.
In the nearby area, you can find many other interesting buildings like Copenhagen’s Cathedral, The Church of Our Lady, the historic main buildings of Copenhagen University, and The Round Tower.Written August 10, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I have been here twice for an ESHRE meeting over the years and it is a very well run appropriate location.Written June 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chrisss2 contributionsMy daughter and I attended The Human Library and had an amazing experience. It is such a wonderful idea to have real people talk about topics that are important to them, that they know about/that they are living with. It is more intimate than just reading a text. It’s great not to know the topics ahead of time and to see the variety that is offered. There is something to be learned from all of the topics. The variety offered would peak your interest. It definitely was something that I planned on doing upon visiting Copenhagen and the experience was far more than I’d expected. I definitely recommend this as something a traveler to Copenhagen should experience, as well as locals.Written September 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LA23Gretna, LA40 contributionsThoroughly enjoyed our stay in Copenhagen, especially here in the old Meat Packing District. We ate lunch here, visited some of the shops, and enjoyed the views, food options, and the people watching!Written March 10, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - StephenDenmark742 contributionsIt's difficult to find the reception, but anyway then you, at the same time, know where to enjoy the breakfast. Same location! The room was different but smart and include beds to have a small family (4 pax) enjoy time together.
Bowling have to be booked upfront and a small fee for renting shoes has to payed, but it's free to play as long as you have booked a room.Written March 17, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We saw Waltzing with Regetze (spelling?). Nice place to see a little movie.Written January 23, 2012This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - John jCamberwell, Australia327 contributionsWhile visiting the information centre you must take advantage of buying pastries at the coffee shop inside the front door
This coffee shop has the best selection of Danish pastries that we were able to find in Copenhagen.
Only downside is that coffee is served in disposable cups! Buy the pastries and take away to Statement for the coffee!
Staff at the centre were most helpful - and we bought the keys for the hop-on hop-off Grayline bus here alsoWritten September 15, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
