What travelers are saying
- melvin KDerby, UK34 contributionsThe exhibits here are varied and worthwhile. But they are generally poorly lit and much of the signage is too small to read though there are frequent English translations. We were escorted out at 315 when the museum was meant to close at 330. We’ve seen this before in Greece. It’s unacceptable.Written February 17, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Marios P1 contributionReally interesting place, definitely worth visiting, lots of history behind it. I have taken the tour inside the old factory with school a few years ago, everything was presented in pristine condition and it really gave you the idea of how the factory used to operate.Written March 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- danae sAthens, Greece8 contributionsA very interesting little museum full of butterflies and other insects.
The man who showed us around is the man who has been all around the world collecting the specimens. Very kind and very informative and friendly man ready to answer your questions. His English though could do with some improvement.

- Holly WReading, PA489 contributionsStep into this lovely church and enjoy the frescos and history. It's well worth it even if you have no religious inclinations. For those who do, you'll find this an interesting place that provides a respite for reflection.

Located on the port of Volos, the doors are the front of the sea. Well, this makes you feel close to God more than never. We hope to come back.Written September 11, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- stamatara11 contributionsIf you are a bit of a history buff, what's not to like. Anything with the history of this chapel is worth visiting. Take a walk from Portaria and enjoy nature at its best. It's a small chapel but the feeling it gives is quite incredible, especially knowing how old it is, if only the walls could talk .....Written August 20, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
