Lovely crystal water, very calm, sandy beach and just absolutley beautiful. But...the sand is covered in what looks lime bean bag balls, bits of plastic (be careful as a bit stuck in my foot) everywhere and needs a good clean up. There are only a few sunbeds and charge €35 and the beach bar charged us €11.50 for w tiny, almost cold coffees. There were 2 other beach bars up along but they were closed. It also got very crowded and we left after a couple of hours. Shame as it has to be one of the best beaches, it needs cleaning up, affordable sumbeds and not a rip off beach bar.

Is a very beautiful beach, but you should rent a boat to go alone in the morning.. early in the morning.. otherwise it will be full of people and boats😄

We visited a few days ago. There were sun beds available but we chose to use our towels for the time we planned to stay there. A really lovely beach bar , I couldn’t have happily dozed off with my beer I felt so relaxed with the chill
Out tunes that were being played! The sand is a little shingley but fine to walk on

Beautiful secluded beach on the northern side of the island. You'll need a jeep to access this, but the trip is really worth it. There is a small place to buy drinks and snacks, this really was a beautiful and quiet location with clear blue water.

A short 15 minute mini bus ride from the bus terminus by the port takes you direct to the monastery. Thankfully the trip did not take long as the mini bus seats were so close together most of us had our legs in the aisle, but at only 2 euros a ticket I could not complain. We arrived at 11.45. The entrance to the monastery is off the car park/bus stop. Entering the courtyard there is a feeling of calm all around the entire area, even though it was school half term and there were a few kids around. We walked the courtyard, all around the outside of the church, inside the chuch, bought a couple of items in the gift shop, had a lovely cup of tea in the cafe gardens and were ready to return to town in the hour. The bus arrived at 12.45 and there was quite a queue. Luckily we were able to get a seat otherwise we would have had another hour to wait for the next bus. Enjoyable place to visit but only allow an hour.

What a wonderful peek into life in Skiathos from the early 1900s. This little museum is run by the family who have owned it for generations and it is really well worth 30 minutes of anyone’s time.

We did the 6 wine tasting experience again this year. Maria as usual looked after us wonderfully. We thoroughly enjoyed the wines, anti pasta, ambience and views as we always do.
Highly recommended a visit here if you’re in Skiathos.
    Thank you Maria.

Beautiful little beach round the north of the island. You need transport to get you there. The track down to the beach is a bit precarious but when you get there it’s gorgeous. Two subbed and a parasol only cost is €10 all day. Also there’s a lovely little taverna doing great food and drinks for a very reasonable price.Had a fantastic day swimming, snorkelling and relaxing on this gorgeous bit of Skiathos.

We hired a jeep whilst on the island of Skiathos and decided to take an evening drive, specifically to watch the sun set on Agia Elini. If you are using a 4 x 4 vehicle you can easily drive all around this coastline and there are some lovely places to stop, very close to a beach.

Although there is a beach bar (aptly named “Sun Set Bar”) where you can grab a drink and maybe a little something to eat our experience wasn’t good! All I wanted was 1 beer and 1 cappuccino. The young male was totally and utterly hopeless. It took him an absolute age to work out how to use the machine and kept asking me if the coffee was okay. I couldn’t work out if he was the village idiot or he was deliberately trying to wind me up? It’s was as if no one really wanted your business and it was an inconvenience for them to serve you. When I went to pay, again more problems. I was asked to pay at the bar next door! All of that said, the small decked area was a nice place to sit with a cold beer.

Beautuful view of the town! If you go from the ferry port there are not that many steps. I was up in 5 min (and I'm 62). Serene environment. Definitely worth it!

Not a bad beach. Nice clear water and not overly busy, but getting there is a bit tedious by foot if you don’t like hills.
