It is a wonderful opportunity to try and spot the turtles and enjoy the views of the beautiful Argostoli Lagoon on one side of the Bridge and Argostoli Port on the other and Argostoli behind.

Great for a short walk and to stop by to have a coffee or a meal with amazing sea view:) I recommend Il familia restaurant, which offer amazing food at a very good price .

Fab beech with lovely bars and restaurants , great views , very relaxing , some bars charge for the beech sun beds , but if you eat or drink with them they are free, would defiantly go back.
It's mainly sand (sometimes rocks) and it has a great view at vast sea and Zakynthos.

the path is about 1km ,easy and connects historical sites such as the Venetian lighthouse 16 century, the newest one 18 century & the remains of the Vasiliki church 6 century which seems to be on an ancient temple.
The Venetian Lighthouse is gorgeous and you have the most amazing views from the steps up at the top!

A 6k walk from Lassi but worth it, the views from here are breathtaking , worth the walk for a fantastic photograph.

much more to see at this end of the castle, you can then walk back down through the existing gate towards the shoreline with amazing views into Assos, please note..... this is very rugged and in some areas slippy...
Both walks are pleasant with wonderful views.There is now a tour guide at the castle gate if required.
