We took a trip to Lindos by bus from our hotel. Upon arrival you have to walk down a steep hill to get to the little village but the views across the bay and village are spectacular. Lovely white washed buildings and stone floor walkways lined with tiny shops and buildings and a lovely way to spend a few hours. We went to vanilla bar cafe and sat on the top roof terrace with a view of the acropolis and the bay and there are numerous bars cafe’s restaurants available. It’s a bit expensive but definitely worth a visit for the ambiance and views. Recommended good walking shoes or trainers for trek up to the acropolis as it’s very steep and there are numerous steps to get to the base of the site. It was fairly busy when we arrived @ 10.30 am and some tour groups crowded the walkways so would advise getting to Lindos early.

Superb views o er the town and the coast. The 20 year old restorations allow you to picture better what it would have looked like in the past

With the perfect location of the area, it feels like I have been back to my hometown (The Land of Thunder Dragon). The scenes really drag our attention of this place. It was beautifully located and I should say it was also served as the hub of tourist attractions of all time. I have been there with my friends on trip. If you are world explorers, please visit the city.

We did not stay long but wanted to see this famous bay. Very picturesque free parking and a shot walk down to the beach. We enjoyed our visit in mid Apeil, might get a bit crazy busy in summer

We enjoyed our day here. A variety of slides. Food prices weren't too bad. Although we brought our own and seemed to be ok to eat it here. As others have said, the place really needs a lick of paint. It looks pretty run down in places. There were enough staff so you either waited ages to be told it was safe to go as one staff was in charge of 3 slides, or someone went straight after you and landed before you got out. We spent 4 hours here and that was plenty. End of season no queues.

I knew very little about the place but even with little knowledge it was still a wonderful experience. The artefacts and the wonderful mosaics and grand rooms and furniture are a sight not to be missed. It was breathtakingly beautiful. Steeped with history. Well worth visiting. Many rooms and the gardens were closed as it was the start of the season but there was still plenty to see xx

The best sandy beach we have found on the island lovely shaped bay, clear shallow water, great for swimming to escape the heat. When we visited, in early April the tourist season is only just starting, so there was little else to do here but roast on a sun bed

Such a stunning place! The kids loved running around here, I got some beautiful photos and we spent time just enjoying the waves crashing against the coast.
If visiting please grab a gyros from the food truck in site. Absolutely the nicest kebab since being here. Also beware of the cats lol there's loads due to a sanctuary onsite and they love people and strokes! Unfortunately I don't like cats lol. Cheap entrance fees and bus came direct feom oue hotel.

    This was a great experience.
The views on the top are truly astounding!

I walked the trail from Kolymbia. The entrance is a bit “hidden” in the end of a road in between some resorts. It is well marked on google maps for instance. So easy enough to find.

The hike upwards to towards the beginning of the stairs of 300 steps was very nice. It was a great experience to glance out over Kolymbia as I got higher and higher in the terrain.

At the top was the monastery which was visited by several deeply religious people when I was there, so behaving respectfully would be a good idea.
