Sea is clear, bit pebbly so bring some swim shoes. We were staying in the Ikos hotel, so worth going down to this beach, but I wouldn’t bother travelling any distance to it.Written October 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lixie123Essex, UK221 contributionsA hell of a walk down to it and a mammoth walk back up-but worth the visit.
The water from the spring is super hot and it’s said it has healing powers and works wonders on aches and pains. It’s a shingle / pebble beach tho-so being your beach shoes…
it was way too hot for me and could only manage to put my feet in! But there were people submerged in the rock pool. . Mountain goats roam freely there too…. So lovely to see :-)Written August 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ben F23 contributionsWe had a wonderful experience at Paradise Beach during our stay in Kos, visiting twice because we enjoyed it so much. There is plenty of parking available, and we never had an issue finding sun loungers. On our first visit, we arrived around 10 am and it was pleasantly quiet. The second time, we came in the afternoon at around 2 pm, and despite the later hour, there were still plenty of beds available.
The water is crystal clear with gentle waves, making it a relaxing spot for a swim. Though the water is a bit cool at first, you quickly get used to it once submerged. If you’re worried about fish, there’s no need—while you may spot a few, they tend to swim away once you’re in the water.
Sun loungers are reasonably priced at €15 for two, and we didn’t mind paying for such a well-maintained beach.
There’s also a great restaurant on-site. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming during both of our visits, offering fast service. The gyros were fantastic, and we highly recommend trying them.
Overall, Paradise Beach is well worth a visit if you’re in Kos! A perfect spot for a day of sun and sea.Written October 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ryan W5 contributionsVisited as two gay men, really nice experience didn’t experience any homophobia, not sure why the other reviewers did. Guessing that they weren’t very mindful, weren’t very considerate, or weren’t very demure. - Kathy K10 contributionsWhen we first turned down the road Google maps suggested. We thought it was a wrong turn. It’s a fair while down the road before you arrive to the fire at. We visited with three kids under 10 who absolutely loved it. We arrived during the time the local charity was present. It allowed us to donate some money in exchange for some grains to feed to peacocks and ducks. We hadn’t anticipated just how many peacocks, hens and chicks would be around. Seems there has been a clean up of the cats. We only saw one and the volunteer was taking another way who was hurt away with him. We spent much longer than we anticipated so didn’t get to explore the forest as much as we had hoped.Written October 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Paul26 contributionsLovely beach with great sand and easy access to the clear sea. The “Ria’s Beach” section (western part of the beach) is beautifully quiet and peaceful. Very natural - with a lovely, simple, Greek Taverna behind it (Sunset), with friendly service and one of the best doradas I’ve eaten anywhere in the worldWritten August 6, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
