We arrived at 4pm and there were maybe ten visitors on it. You should definitely walk up to the little church, the view up there over the bay is breathtakingly beautiful. Landscape is extraordinary looks like North Africa with kedros trees. Street is asphalt up to a point and after is dirty.
Writing as locals, we say our opinion for both sides. Beach is very beautiful in all sides. The beach bar that is on one beach is run by a family who liked to add services to the beach as it was isolated without sign if developnent.
It is completely everyone's opinion if they visit the bar or if they rent an umbrella from them. Someone can take his own umbrella, someone else can see the menu before order. In any way, we should not write bad not for the beach and not for a local business. Stunning beach in beautiful bay. Very tranquil, with crystal clear waters. Sun loungers €10 for 2 with umbrella & bar service available. The sand was perfect, golden, soft but didn’t get everywhere.
The bay is surrounded by tavernas. - Sunset Suites Annada Karpathos30 contributionsA sandy beach with sunbeds and parasols to rent, volleyball court and options to eat - drink (beach bar with delicious snacks and drinks, restaurant with good quality quantity Greek food). When it is calm it is a swimming pool, when it's wavy it's perfect game for wave lovers! This beach is perfect option as it isn't always full with crowds and visitors can enjoy, plus the fresh air, even in heat!

Sari Island is fantastic for snorkelling, diving into small caves, walking around and swimming - unfortunately there was not enough time to climb up to the beautiful Agia -next time for sure! It is a great days trip to spend on a boat, swim and see Karpathos as well as Sari Island from a different view! Meal costs € 10 and is a nice grill with salad ect.. Beach is very beautiful, scenery is fantastic with rocks and pebbles on the rocks.
