The pairing of the wines and food was very well organized and I personaly loved the white fish ceviche with Vassaltis santorini wine and the tuna tartare with "Vassanos".
We tasted 5 wines (with such a unique food pairing with each wine - instead of just traditional bread and cheese) and had the immense pleasure of having Christina as our guide.

The Santorini in particular was special because of its beautiful blue bottle and is a beautiful wine to drink.
The wines of Santorini are better with food; so I was served some cheese to go with the wine tasting.

The tastings and food pairings provided a wonderful introduction to Santorini wine, while Iliana - who is a trained winemaker - shared the history, culture and challenges of growing grapes on a volcanic island.
But this was also a food tour that introduced us to fava beans, local olives and olive oil, tasty cheeses and meats, feta, tomato fritters, pistachios, eggplant, dolmades, and my new favorite - caper leaves.

If you’re pushed for time I’d suggest skipping the tasting and just getting one of their beers at a restaurant or take away food stall on the island.
