Don’t real bad reviews about loud music coz it wasn’t loud just people up dancing and having a great time. It was FUN FUN. Sorry I didn’t get the name of the young lady with the red hair she was singing and dancing and got every one up on there feet. From start to finish well worth every penny. Basically, the capt saw our 5 year-old, called him over, and gave him control of the boat. Yes, the 5 year old was steering the boat, under the supervision of the master, but a week later it is all that he is talking about.

For the first stop, the gorge, you need trainers and bear in mind it's very windy. The second stop, Damnoni, is a very nice beach. The boat trip was great, very beautiful view of the coast. Preveli was amazing! Although there are many people and the toilets are terrible. Finally Plakias was nice. Everything went well and I'm happy I did it. I would have taken off Plakias and stayed in Damnoni, because there isn't enough time there to swim, and then in Plakias we really just had lunch. Drinks were readily available and the bay we stopped in was lovely and calm (despite it being quite a windy day), the SUPs, swimming and snorkelling was great and the bay was not at all crowded.

The staff was very knowledgeable and also gave us some history of the area. We got to see some neat wildlife including an octopus! - 72LynnMB15 contributionsThe dual-hull catamaran was clean and the crew were friendly. It left on time and had a good commentary provided in 3 languages.
It dropped a point because the seats in the dual hull face both inwards and outwards, and you are allocated to seats by the crew. If you are lucky you are outward facing and see a lot, but if you are inward facing you are looking under the boat at the other hull and see very little. We had lovely views of the coast and went to a nice beach and swimming area. Then we went away from land for a beautiful sunset.
My only negative comment is that I could have done without the music but that’s just a personal preference.

I can't remember her name, but she was funny, personable, and informative. The views were amazing! - Kate13 contributionsAfter a shaky start waiting an hour in the harbour with the wind affecting whether we could proceed with the trip we finally set off. Fortunately there were only approx 50 on the boat and there was plenty of space to lie on the deck in the sun .
I booked directly with George the day before at the harbour , paid a Deposit and then the rest on Mastercard the day of the trip.
My daughter and I enjoyed the trip , for the price we didn’t expect a grand tour of the island just a day out different to the pool hotel . You get the two swim stops as promised with opportunity to jump from the boat and then to swim to a small beach or cave . Equipment is provided if you are not a strong swimmer.
Lunch was lots of lettuce in olive oil/ vinaigrette with a large chicken breast cooked in herbs with a few slices of crusty bread … this suited me and my daughter and kept us full but there was also opportunity to purchase drinks and you can take snacks . Water melon was available too.
We got transport back to our hotel Belvedere included in the price 5 euro each for return , however the 2.5 k is walkable if you want to walk along the coast road and look at bars and shops.
Overall it was a pleasant day out and gave you a taster of the sea, you dont get to go far along the coast as you go towards Malia and then double back on yourself.
