    Just a perfect experience.

We tried the winery’s five different wines (three white, one rosé and one red), had some small snacks and water with the tasting and then went for a guided tour. It was all lovely, the views are absolutely amazing! Nice and quiet. 8€ pr. person.

The wines are some of the best, we have ever had. Perfectly suited for our taste. We normally do not prefer white wine, but all three were really good.

We bought four bottles to bring to the hotel, since we unfortunately can not bring any home (no checked in bagage), and we were really surprised by the price. Only 7€ pr. bottle.

We were so happy with the experience and also to support a local winery rather than the hotel.

Really a very nice experience! Very knowledgeable guide, lots of wine to taste, just a 30 minutes taxi ride from Heraklion, one of our best wine tasting experiences (and we have had MANY) ever. We also found some of their wines back in the US, taste just as nicely as on site!

Lovely place where Maria our host was gentle and informative - the tasting area has beautiful picture windows over the surrounding countryside. It was our first wine tasting experience as a family and we learnt something too. Thanks Maria for keeping open for us !

Delicious wines (and food) and more wine after the tasting.

This place is everything a winery should be. Accessible, friendly and not pretentious. Chrissi was excellent and really looked after us.

A fantastic way to spend the afternoon.

In a way once you have done a couple of Wine Tours you know what to expect, and this followed the pattern - welcome, process talk, cellar visit, film, tasting. It was relaxed though, and although I don't drink wine, others I was with said the three wines they tasted were very nice. Nice countryside setting.

Fabulous setting, friendly atmosphere, delicious lunch and great wine. We spent the afternoon having a light lunch and sampling 5 of the Dourakis wines sat underneath the vines in the sunshine. The staff and service is well considered and informative. We truly enjoyed are afternoon, we’re able to come away with some delicious wine and cannot recommend highly enough!

We visited this winery as part of a private tour with Iros and Helena of Crete Wine Escapes. Its quite rural with amazing views down towards Iraklio. We were taken around by one of brothers, whose passion was clear from the outset with many family members who were working there, introduced as we went around. Fantastic experience, seeing their growing methods, the harvest coming in and going through the presses. Iros, the sommelier from Crete Wine Escapes, was able to give great guidance and knowledge for each wine and they organised tasting from the tanks for us as part of the tour. Helena organised a superb al fresco dining experience which was the icing on the cake. Great joint venture - highly recommend visiting here with Crete Wine Escapes to ensure you get the best experience possible.

We followed the signs to this beautiful winery and were treated to a great experience by the wine maker and his daughter.

A very simple affair, a relatively cheap, way to sample some wines before buying. The film downstairs is old and i would encourage them to redo it to hold peoples attention. Its 2021, not 1981.

I enjoyed the wine tasting, the hostess was attentive and we bought some to take home.

We drove specially approx 1.5hrs to this winery to pay a visit and buy some wines. Despite all info the office was closed. Somebody passed, stopped, phoned somebody and asked us to come back after about 5 hrs. Very strange attitude and better to keep your opening hours accurate! Of course we did not wait for such a long time
