Driver sent text when at airport with his location. Cheaper than hotel shuttle. Driver very informative of local area and chatted away. day after we arrived to Athens. First, we watched the changing of the guards ceremony at Syntagma square, then strolled through the national gardens. The hill was close by and we decided to do it, it had an excellent bird’s eye view of the city. After walking up all those stairs along the Ploutarchou street we welcomed a cable car ride because we couldn’t hike any longer and were tired. The price for 4 was 40€ ( up and down, kids and elderly have a discount ) but there were no seats, the entire ride is inside the mountain and there’s nothing to see. We had to stand up, but luckily it was only 5 minutes. Tour guides and groups were rude and filled up the ride down even though we were first in line! Knowing what I know now, I’d only pay the fare to ride up and I’d go down the outside path next time. Overall, a great experience! Lorenzo always makes sure you have the exact tour you paid for. Our guide malerie was so knowledgeable. We were a group of 15 people and were accommodated in Mercedes vans, very clean and comfortable.
The transfer to our rental was perfect.
Also the communication with the company was very good and they provided us with all the information we requested.

Ticket agents speak English and are helpful (if there for several days, the 5 day Tourist Pass with unlimited rides except airport is a bargain and actually expires at midnight the last day, so I got 5 1/2 days out of it!). Cars are clean and nonsmoking, though it is virtually impossible to get a seat unless you're at the first stop or very young and fast. It runs until 12:30 AM Sunday to Thursday and a very convenient 2 AM on weekend nights, Fridays and Saturdays.
Now for the negatives. There is no air conditioning. While signs say to keep the windows closed since it is air conditioned, none of the cars had AC and we always had to open those windows to get any air at all. Throughout my week there, there were constantly announcements that "this line is out of service until ____" or "this concourse is temporarily closed" or "service is suspended on line such and such until . . ." etc., etc. The most problematic is the airport line, which runs very infrequently, supposedly every 36 minutes (I had the maximum 36 minute wait both times, leaving the airport and returning to it, unlucky I guess). The separate one way ticket they sell for this gives you only up to 90 minutes before it expires. So if you have the maximum wait as I did, 36 minutes, and then the 40 minute ride to Syntagma, that uses up 76 minutes right there. Then you need to wait for the connecting train, if it isn't one of the temporarily suspended ones, and ride to your final stop by the hotel and hope you don't exceed 90 minutes because if you do, you can't get through the exit turnstile. My first one expired and the second one I made with barely 5 minutes to spare. This needs to be looked into. Also, there are two different timetables for the airport one, a posted one at the ticket window and an online one. Agent said the window one was correct but the airport train arrived 15 minutes later than that posted time so I almost missed my flight. My wife and I got a tour around Athens and he was extremely hospitable and courteous. He knew a lot about the surrounding community and made us feel at home. I had the absolute pleasure of having Leonidas as my taxi driver while exploring Piraeus and Athens, and he truly made my trip unforgettable! With over 40 years of experience, Leonidas is not just a driver—he’s a knowledgeable guide who took us to the best historical spots, churches & patiently waited at every stop, and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience.
After a tiring hike up the Acropolis, I needed a quick refreshment, and Leonidas kindly got me a cold Cola. He even helped us score a discount at a local jewelry shop and made an extra stop at Starbucks so I could grab a souvenir. His professionalism, kindness, and passion for his work are unmatched.
If you’re in Athens or Piraeus, I highly recommend finding “Leonidas the Great”! I know I’ll be looking for him when I return! 🇬🇷❣️

I definitely found that with Monica. Not only did she provide a video which made it so easy to locate the meeting spot but also excellent transport from the airport to our hotel. We had the chance to check out the price before the ride and have the information of our driver as well. What was supposed to be a transfer to hotel turned out to be a 4 hour tour of the city, Dimitris is also is a tour guide. He showed us all the main tourist attractions. We have mobility issues and Dimitris could not have been more accommodating. He is very knowledgeable. We arranged for him to pick us up for drive back to the airport on departure. He was very punctual. He made our stay in Athens very special. When in Athens please use his services, he is wonderful.

Coordinating the transportation was easy. They just needed to know pick up and drop off, number of people/bags, and time. All the drivers we had were exceptional. They were all exactly on time, if not a few minutes early. The vans were very clean and comfortable, and the drivers were professional, safe, and smooth.
