- Janmajay PMumbai, India2 contributionsWatching this open air theatre performance was one of the things we looked forward to the most while planning our trip to Greece. The performance takes place on a rooftop with the majestic Acropolis in the background and it just adds an extra dimension to the show. The performance is comprised of 5 small plays rooted in Ancient Greek history. The actors put up a phenomenal performance and take you through a journey back in time. The show is a roller coaster of fun, wits, laughs and sombreness. - Charles MorrisBrooksville, FL127 contributionsWhen we knew we were stopping in Athens on our cruise, we wanted to experience both the places the Apostle Paul visited in Corinth and the sites of Athens. After some looking, we found Greece Taxi. They did a great job helping us plan our visit. On the day of the tour, Christos picked us up right on time and had a great plan for the day. We would see the Corinth Canal and Corinth first then see Athens in the afternoon, to ensure we didn’t have any challenges getting back to the ship. Christos did an amazing job and made the tour even more special by showing videos about ancient Corinth on the drive, giving us maps and books describing the history of the places we would be visiting, giving us some postcards and presents, and even working with us for a quick stop to get some Baklava from his favorite place. What an amazing day, and what made it special was Christos and his passion and friendship. No complaints at all. Thank you. Definitely worth the cost of a 14 hour trip. Great views and stops along the way. Our guide Manolis was excellent and knowledgeable. Great way to spend a day outside Athens and see the coast and ruins. Our driver Christos was not only extremely kind, professional, and very knowledgeable but he really added a special touch to ensure my family had an amazing experience by constantly finding ways to go out of his way to ensure we got the best out of this tour. If you book this trip be sure to request him as a driver.
