He's hilarious and so knowledgeable about Athens' history, architecture, and culture. We learned a ton and saw so many sites that would have been impossible to get in any other way. Although we had seen the Acropolis at night already, Stellios took us to several of the best places to view it from different perspectives - each place with its own interesting and unique history as well. Menelaus was the best tour guide I could have had. He was knowledgable, patient and a great photographer! One of the highlights was watching the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown Greek soldier. The soldiers match with precision in their moves. - Annettenick14 contributionsI thoroughly recommend this Segway tour. John, our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and maximised our experience to ensure we saw as much as possible and heard great information about the sights and some local tips too.
We arranged the tour for soon after we arrived in Athens and it was useful for finding our bearings and identifying where we wanted to return to explore further.
Safety was not a concern as John was very attentive had clearly chose the route carefully.
A Segway tour is a great way to see the sights without having tired legs from walking or getting held up in the traffic on the tourist bus.

His English was fluent and as well as history we discussed Greek and European politics and society. The segways were well maintained and in good condition with storage space for our valuables and the water the company provided. The safety helmets had been cleaned and sterilised prior to use. The communication headsets were comfortable to wear and allowed us to hear the guide clearly without interference. The tour took in the Acropolis, Mars Hill, the ancient agora, the Roman agora and baths and the Olympic amphitheatre as well as Byron’s memorial and interesting back streets. Our tour guide Constantine was very knowledgeable and had all sorts of fun and interesting facts to share. I felt like we were just out with a friend. I would highly recommend this for anyone. He took us to lots of interesting places, allowing us to stop and take pictures and telling us fun facts. My kids, ages 12 and 14, really enjoyed riding the Segways and said it was one of the highlights of our trip. - Ewa HConcord, NH2 contributionsThe trip lead by John was an excellent way to get the feel for Athens. All three of us were the first time Segway users, but John explained in detail how to use them and after just a few minutes I was comfortable. With the headsets John gave us, we were able to hear him as we went. We saw and got the narrative of the old Athens and some of the newer districts. John was very knowledgeable and was entertaining to listen to. At the same time, he made sure we told him if there was anything we wanted to see or just to stop to do little souvenir shopping. Overall, the tour was a hit and different from what we did at other cruise calls.
