- Brschwend5 contributionsMy family of four had the pleasure of touring the Parthenon, Acropolis, and Acropolis Museum with Alexia. It was nothing short of incredible! Alexia was knowledgeable (with two master’s degrees!) and enthusiastic, a wonderful combination! We have never visited the site before, so she walked us through each portion, providing information and insight that made her an invaluable asset to our experience. She even showed us the best spots for amazing pictures, and helped take pictures from the best angles. After the tour, she also recommended some wonderful spots for food. We are so grateful for her impact on this once-in-a-lifetime experience. The boat was beautiful, as is the scenery. As a first time solo traveller, it was lovely to let someone else plan my day. Very relaxed, upbeat atmosphere. Jumping off the boat into the sea was incredible! The staff were absolutely fantastic! Loved visiting the islands, highly recommend buying pistachios! Wonderful trip, I cannot recommend it enough. - Catherine H2 contributionsTook this morning tour mid November. Great experience. Contacts re pick up location ( close to hotel) were clear. Guide Athena was great. Informative info. She was flexible to our interests/experience etc. Stop at lake to see and stop at outlook for sea view of the Temple.did bring swimming stuff but it did not happen. I suppose that could have been made clear prior to but i suspected it wouldn't (although we swam during following hot days). Sounion was beautiful and we had plenty of tine to explore. It was v quiet but as leaving it was becoming busy. Very glad to have come early as had site pretty much to ourselves. Driver also great and had to deal with truly awful driving of other driver at one point. Kept us safe. Loved this tour. Learned some interesting things. Piqued interest in island temple discussed. Thank you.
